This is our first year coming to bike week and trust us it hasn’t disappointed. With that being said the person that helped me get all this started couldn’t join us. My co worker, my friend, my brother Colten I miss you still everyday. You made the world a better and funnier place to live and it will never be the same. I could only imagine what these trips would be like if you were here.
With all that being said this will be it for us here at Bikes, Mics, and Beers. I’ve managed to do the things that Colten and I had always talked about… The iron butt 1000mi in 24hrs or less, Niagara Falls, Myrtle Beach Bike Week, and last how to get by in this life with out having that friend by your side. This is finally closure for me and it’s sad. Sad but also peaceful. I miss you brother.
We will still update time from time if we take trips and post photos but mainly that’s about it. Thanks for letting me be entertainment for you or if you just liked bikes and have that need for riding.
First I want praise god for watching over us. Second I want to say HOLY CRAP. We made it. We made it. 1,021.6 miles with 25 min on the clock to spare 😂. I’m happy, sad, running on adrenaline, and need a shower in the worst way. This was for you Colten the one thing we had always talked about doing. I know you’re here and I know you watched over. We are in marathon now key west is next.

This is it. This is the moment I have been waiting on. I am so ready to try and tackle Key West, Florida again. This time nothing can stop me. Tag along as I do live video updates from all of our stops. We are hoping there might be a way to live stream some of the ride especially across 7 mile bridge. July 12th 12pm kick stands up for an unforgettable ride!
