INTRODUCTION
There are various concerns about the long-term viability of irrigation and drainage projects, as well as water quality issues associated with drainage water disposal. Land degradation is also a problem due to irrigation-induced salinity and water logging. Aquatic habitats have been harmed in the past by saline or high-nutrient drainage water.
Agricultural production methods continue to rely on drainage as a critical component. In order to enhance the net benefits of drainage systems, more attention will need to be given to the water quality impacts of drainage water disposal. This document identifies potential problems and management options in the development, production, treatment and disposal of agricultural drainage water.
PURPOSE
-The goal of this project is to solve and learn about a community's water deficit as well as the necessity of drainage in a certain location.
OBJECTIVES
- It guarantees a healthy living if properly managed
- It reduces the occurrence of soil erosion
- It prevents water accumulation
METHODOLOGY
So each purok will have a quarterly drainage system inspection, and if there are any difficulties or garbage in the drainage, it should be fixed right away. The drainage system should be clean enough to allow all of the water to flow freely. This quarterly inspection will ensure the effectiveness of each purok's drainage system in Barangay Poblacion Sur.
