If you want to indulge with something sweet to kick off your Monday, why not whip up a delicious cup of rich and thick hot chocolate for National Hot Chocolate Day? Unlike hot cocoa that is made with cocoa powder, this decadent drink is made with two simple ingredients ... chocolate and milk. Try out this easy recipe from Allrecipes that adds a little cinnamon for an added extra kick. I like to add a dash of salt to balance the sweetness.

Hot Chocolate

1.55 oz Chocolate Bar (chopped)
2/3 milk (or more, to taste)
Dash of Cinnamon

Place chocolate pieces in a saucepan over medium-low heat; add milk and whisk constantly until chocolate is melted and well blended, about 5 minutes. Whisk in cinnamon. Remove from heat; add more milk if desired. Serve in a mug.

Per Serving: 319 calories; protein 8.8g; carbohydrates 34.6g; fat 16.3g; cholesterol 23.1mg; sodium 101.6mg.
