I’ve had a few people ask me this week how I stay motivated, Why did I take a brake from YouTube? And so on…

Let me explain the not so fun side of YouTube. Because as much as I love everything about uploading to YouTube, having YouTube as a job and passion there are also days where I struggle and loose motivation on everything…

Uploading to a platform of thousands of people is scary on the outside I’m happy bubbly and cheerful but inside I’m worried about how this video will work out, How I look on the camera, Is this video going to be demonetised, will this video have as many views as my last…

Just one video alone takes over 5 hours to make.. Making sure the scene is perfect, camera angles are perfect, lighting is perfect, audio is working… Then having to record the video, sometimes the video crashes or the camera dies so I have to resist it, Somedays putting on a fake smile because inside I’m not doing okay but I can’t show that on camera.

Then I have to edit the video, cut out the mistakes, add in the audio, render the video that takes Hours alone. Making the thumbnail and uploading it and holding on hope it all goes perfect..

somedays I pre record a bunch of videos.. Then we move onto the Analytics of YouTube.. watching my views jump around, watching my subscribers jump around, uploading a video that goes bad trying to figure out how it’s gone so wrong..

Somedays I am mentally exhausted from uploading to YouTube.. YES I love it and I am grateful and I would never ever stop what I love to do but somedays it can get a little to much and I need to shut off for a while.. Hard work pays of and I am completely grateful for all the support I have, how far I have come and for everyone who is there on my videos. And that’s what keeps me motivated is knowing I am putting a smile on someone’s face, knowing that I have brightened one persons day. It’s not the money it’s the plesiosaur I have knowing that someone out there is enjoying watching something I love to do..

But some weeks I just need a brake.. and I appreciate everyone who waits for me to return..

I love all my supporters and I love everyone who has supported me ❤️❤️
