ELVIS at the International.

Bond fans may recognize the Las Vegas Hilton/The International hotel as the Whyte House in Diamonds Are Forever.
As you can see, there's no giant tower, it's a matte painting in the film. Funny enough, in the movie you can see the real size Las Vegas Hilton/The International hotel in the background as Bond ropes outside the Whyte House.
The hotel has been renamed various times since the film was made, and is currently known as The Westgate (not a very grand name for Vegas).
The gas station seen in the film is right across the street from the International hotel, and Circus, Circus (where all the games and circus acts in the film take place) is pretty much just behind the camera in the daytime image from the film seen here.
We lived two streets behind the hotel in the 80s.
