Corporate social and environmental responsibility along with sustainable development have been the subjects of many of our recent web and video projects. This video interview was an insightful experience for the camera operator as well. The core message was that natural capital is an asset that is often being overlooked and taken for granted.

Nature is providing us with an immense amount of free services such as pollination, decomposition, climate and so forth. We don't even know what they are until we detect a problem with them. Mother Nature truly needs looking after.

Nodium has worked on quite a few projects with Finnish Beekeepers' Association including event streaming services and modernizing their membership registry. This recently published revamped web site acts as a portal to the world of beekeeping for both professionals and consumers. This was a particularly enjoyable and rewarding project. Pollinator diversity and many other environmental issues are an important agenda for the beekeeper community. Flies for fishing are tricky to photograph due to their small size and variable colouring. All the products that were photographed during this session at Nodium could easily fit in an envelope. We used a pitch black background, a dual wireless flash system and a special holder which is normally used during the elaborate manual process of tying these miniature works of art. https://fly-bank.com

After years in the making, the definitive book on finnish textile design legend Greta Skogster-Lehtinen is finally ready. Just looking at the cover of the book, it's easy to see the connection between designs created on mechanical looms and modern pixel and glitch art. She was a true pioneer and innovator recognized by other masters of the era including Alvar Aalto and Eliel Saarinen. Nodium provided some of the illustrative photography for the project utilizing the archives of the Design Museum and textiles on location.

Akordi Oy was founded in December 2013. It is the first Finnish organization specialized in offering negotiation, conflict management, and mediation services and training and capacity building related to these.
