I love using my new gratitude journal to document my joyful moments of the day. Sometimes I do this with just journaling and sometimes I like to add some of my favorite photos taken that day. This has been a great way to continue my practice of daily gratitude. Anyone else like to keep up with their joyful moments this way?

Happy November, everyone! I hope y'all are having a fabulous start to this beautiful new month! I spent extra time in my gratitude journal this morning creating a November vision board with some of my favorite autumn things. The colors that accompany the month of November always make me swoon. The changing of the leaves, yummy beverages, pumpkins, pretty journal pages filled with inspiration, words of gratitude, and long windy roads seemingly leading to nowhere. All of it just brings me so much joy.

Lately, I have been watching my oldest live his life in a way that feels all too familiar. Familiar because it reminds me very much of the way that I have always chosen to live mine as well.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

He boosts people up and does not tear them down. He offers grace and forgiveness often and he never quits reminding those that he cares about why they are AMAZING. He is 15 and so incredibly wise. I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday morning! It is rainy and yucky outside here in Nashville and I am secretly loving it. All day pajamas and an unlimited amount of hot tea and snuggles with my little guy...I’ll take it! How are you spending your Saturday?

Yesterday was my 44th birthday! Whew...that number feels REAL, y’all! Over the past 20 years, I’ve built a career, gotten married, had babies, quit said career, built a business while staying home with my littles, sold said business, focused on learning and growth, grew bigs, and now am solidifying new goals and establishing a real connection with myself as I become the woman I know I am meant to be.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This morning, I worked on this vision board. One where I want to practice more self-love, growth, dream-chasing, hiking, exploring, and just seeing where this year takes me. All while continuing to raise my boys of course (which is ultimately my favorite job of all).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Last night, I heard my youngest son bolt up the stairs and into my bedroom with a “Mom, guess what?! I just heard a cha-ching!” This is what happens every time I get a new order in my little shop. Celebration. So first and foremost, thank you for allowing my little family to celebrate on the daily. You are all so amazing!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It recently dawned on me that my journey as a creative entrepreneur is not mine alone. It’s my boys’ journey as well. One where they are learning that they, too, can do anything in the world that they want to do. That they can celebrate their own victories one day and that those victories can look like anything they dream them up to be. That they don’t have to fit into a box and neither do their dreams. That same box that I stayed in for way too many years. The box that stole my joy every single day. As a mom, I realized that I don’t want them in a box that they don’t want to be in. I want them to find the freedom that I have been chasing after my whole life.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I realized that during my entrepreneurial journey, not only have I been able to work towards achieving my own goals and chasing after my own dreams, but I have also been able to plant little seeds into my little entrepreneurial rockstars that I am raising here at home. Every time they see the growth that I am achieving, they are given even more clarity in knowing that they too can do anything in the world that they want to do.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

From tackling a snow/ice storm to enjoying 70-degree weather all in the same week, it’s been a bit of a crazy few days here in Nashville. We got to enjoy sledding and snowball fights along with 4 mile walks wearing short sleeves, all during a span of a few days. Bananas.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Anywho, I am currently working on a list of books I want to try to read this year. I love reading, but when covid hit, so did the neverending chatter of little people and mom brain, so reading sort of ceased. While my boys have been back in school for most of this school year, I just haven’t taken the time to get back to reading again.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now that I’m ready to get back to it, though, I really need some book recommendations. I’ve started a new list but want to add to it. Any good book recommendations that you would suggest? During my free time, I love to document the lives of my family. This past weekend I spent some of my downtime catching up on printing my 2020 cell phone pictures. I love printing my cell phone pictures as little 2x3 prints. How cute are these? Anyone else love the feeling of having printed photos?

Hi Friends! It's been a while. I took a much-needed timeout from all things social media to soak up the last month of 2020 with my family. My three boys are growing up so fast so finding time to just be with them is one of my top priorities.

With that being said though, I absolutely LOVE my community here and the work that I do so getting back to business has me giddy with excitement. While I have been taking a social media break, I have still stayed pretty busy revamping some of my old products and am starting to create some new ones as well. Unfortunately, I am currently nursing a pinched nerve in my neck and struggling to stay focused as the pain is nothing short of tumultuous at times. I have an appointment with a chiropractor later this afternoon and am hopeful that she will be able to work some magic, and get me back to work.
