Mexican Woman Looks Like Real Life Vampire After 49 Body Modifications (Graphics).

Maria José Cristerna began her modification journey at the age of 14, and after getting 99% of her body tattooed, she received the official record for being the woman with the most body modifications

A woman who holds the official world record for having the most body modifications has urged younger people to think carefully before getting “irreversible” modifications.

Maria José Cristerna, from Mexico, has a total of 49 body modifications, including implants in her forehead and arms, as well as piercings and a split tongue.

With 99% of her body also tattooed, the Mexican’s extreme look has earned her the title of looking like a ‘real life vampire’.

But, speaking on the Guinness World Records YouTube channel, the tattoo fanatic has advised others to think carefully about following her footsteps after she received the official record for being the woman with the most body modifications in the world.

“The advice I would give is that you have to think about it a lot as it is irreversible,” she suggested.

“I love the way I look, but you have to understand that there are young people who are very open to tattoos and piercings and everything.

“It’s become fashionable, so we might get to a point where it’s not what we want anymore, and we might not like it anymore.

“So you have to think about it very hard in order to love it and be able to defend it your whole life.”

Despite this, Maria admitted that she would continue to enjoy modifying her appearance, observing: “If I feel well and my health allows it, I’ll carry on doing it.”

During the video, the so-called ‘vampire lady’ took the Guinness World Record cameras on a tour of her heavily altered appearance, and revealed that she had started her modification journey at the age of 14.

Maria described how she had started with tattoos, and claimed that “99%” of her body is currently covered, before explaining which updates had been the most painful.

“One of the most painful modifications were the implants in my arms, and also the tattooing of the eyeballs,” she said.

This painting of a young woman breastfeeding an old man in a prison cell was sold for Euros 30 million. The painting may look perverse but the story behind is from historical records.

The poor man was sentenced to "death by starvation" for stealing a loaf of bread during the reign of Louis XIV in France. The woman was his only daughter and the only visitor to his cell. She was allowed to visit him daily but was frisked thoroughly such that no food was taken in.

When after 4 months the man still survived with no weight loss, the authorities were perplexed and started spying on her in the cell and to their utter astonishment found her to breastfeed her father to the fullest sharing her baby's milk. The judges then realizing the compassion and love of the woman for her father, pardoned the father and set him free.

This piece of history brings into focus how deep is a woman's compassion in our daily lives that men often tend to overlook.

Samson Oluwamodede, a popular Evangelist in the southwest has prophesied a “boom” in the country’s economy, saying the naira will soon regain its power.

The General Overseer of the Prayer Centre Church of God, PCCG, Oluwamodede, predicted that the forces battling against the nation’s development that caused the economy to enter a cr will soon lose it before next year.

The Akure-based cleric who stated this in the Ondo State capital encouraged Nigerians to pray earnestly for protection from “calamity” in the months left in the year. According to him, the holy spirit in a revelation told him that the naira which is currently over 700 to a dollar will soon be at the rate of N10.

“Today, I also want you to mark my words. The dollar will fall and we would have the naira gain its strength. Like a drama, it would be shocking to Nigerians. I repeat again, we shall have (one) dollar as N10 to our currency. You remember I once prophesied that a young lady would bring out the glory of this country through a tournament in sport and that prophecy came to pass. The lady, Amusan (Tobi) is doing us proud now.

Our economy will boom and it would affect all the sectors which would start working again. Children of God, you have to pray tirelessly,” he said.

CBN on Friday, July 29, 2022, said the non-remittance of dollars to foreign reserves by Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPC) is to be blamed for the free fall of naira in the parallel market.

NNPC and its subsidiaries are said to be the sole managers of crude oil which accounts for more than 80 per cent of Nigeria’s Foreign Exchange (forex) earnings.

In the CBN report titled: “The forex question in Nigeria: Fact sheet”, the apex bank disclosed that “domestically, there has been zero dollar remittance to the country’s foreign reserve by the NNPC, insisting that the CBN does not print dollars.

The report states: “As noted by the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, monetary policy alone cannot bear all the burden of the expected adjustments needed to manage these difficulties. It’s our collective duty as Nigerians to shore up the value of the naira.”

According to the apex bank, Nigeria earns foreign exchange from four sources – proceeds from oil exports; proceeds from non-oil exports; diaspora remittances, and Foreign Direct/Portfolio Investments (capital flows).

Meanwhile, the CBN in another statement has advised Nigerians not to succumb to speculative activities of some players in the foreign exchange market.
