A key part of planning for 2024 is to audit your content in 2023. Here are some recommendations on what to audit and analyse:
➡️ Profile audit - is it visually appealing, is it optimised for keywords, and does it sell you well?
➡️ Content audit - What has worked well / hasn't didn't work well and why?
➡️ Audience audit - Are your followers the right fit? What are the demographics and behaviours? What does this reveal for future planning?
➡️ Platform audit - what platforms are performing the best for you and why?
➡️ KPI audit - have you met your key performance indicators this year and how will you build on them in the new year?

I can relate to analysis paralysis at times—it's a real challenge, isn't it?
Overthinking can really slow us down.
But here's a tip: Embrace the fact that taking action, even if it's not perfect, is often a lot more productive than overanalysing and doing nothing.
Social media is constantly changing, and gaining knowledge through experience is essential to the journey.
So, stay flexible, don't hesitate to review, refine and adjust, and don't let overthinking become a roadblock.
Remember, testing and learning should be an enjoyable part of your journey.

The first step is to understand WHO your audience is specifically. I always find it valuable to identify buyer personas within your target audience.
What is a buyer persona?
A semi-fictional representation of your ideal customers. You can have several for one business. It’s not the same as your target audience - it goes much deeper than this to help you develop an in-depth knowledge of your ideal client’s habits, behaviours and interests.
Here are some questions to get you started:
✅ How do you want to make them feel?
✅ What are their challenges and pain points?
✅ How does your service/product solve their problems?
✅ What are their life goals, values, interests and hobbies?
