Espandi Part 2 : The Contradiction
All that which glitters isn't gold. Heard this before but witnessing it first hand. A contradicting culture. Youth traumatised, at times insensitive to violence and destruction. The war machine or a simple smoke screen with the illusion of normal progressive life ?

Glossary:
Sarwes is a term used for 80s addidas high top sneakers which was made popular during civil war. While some wore the sneakers with heels still out and fold down the back end of the shoe like a sandle ' pasqaat ' it was a symbol of bad ass persona or looking gangsta but subconsciously an attempt to imitate those front line soldiers or jihadies of 80 - 90s war.

Espandi - Part 1
A short story written in a series format. Inspired by my own personal experiences. This series will describe 1 of those experiences which is out of a life time spent in Kabul. This is a true incident which shall allow a good insight to my own life and everyday life in Kabul. What it was like to be a young rebel trying to assimilate into my own society and the impact of the reality which had me surrounded, contemplating my own privileged life while I was witnessing a catastrophic scenery under the pretext of my own country.
