City Outlook Magazine art | design | built environment Since mid-2017, City Outlook underwent a digital transformation.

Established as not for profit in 2015, City Outlook Magazine was a bilingual monthly art, design, and building environment print publication, with around 30,000 monthly distributions at more than 100 locations in Hong Kong, include the Hong Kong International Airport, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Arts Development Council, Habitu chain of Cafés, the Universit

y of Hong Kong, and majority of educational providers such as universities and high schools. Widely reported on newspapers such as the Hong Kong Economic Times, City Outlook was the Media Partner for major architecture events, such as the Hong Kong Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture 2015, REVEAL 2 Exhibition 2016, and HKIA Cross-Strait Architecture Design Symposium and Awards (CADSA) 2017. The existing international volunteer editorial team consist of PhD professor and designers within the professional architecture industry. We welcome different design and professionals to email us at [email protected], to contribute articles and share their unique views on Hong Kong and different places around the world. City Outlook 前稱「畕土」是一份以公益精神成立於2015年的雙語月刊，其目標是與來自不同背景的讀者免費分享藝術，設計和建築環境方面的探討和知識，於二零一七年年中前可取閱在香港百多個派發點。

City Outlook 在二零一七年年中後以Facebook平台形式運作，重新調配人手，迎接設計界人才加入我們的團隊。我們熱切期待繼續為大家竭盡所能，並歡迎更多從事不同設計界的專業人士電郵 [email protected] 來投稿撰文 (麻煩盡量用英文或中英對照)，分享他們對香港與外地之間的獨特看法。

Our Story

City Outlook was established in 2015 by Vivian, with an intention to be a nonprofit monthly magazine in Hong Kong to share professional, yet easy to understand news updates about art, design, and the building environment.

Up to April 2017, City Outlook were freely and widely distributed across Hong Kong to nearly 30,000 readers each month. Distribution locations included the Hong Kong International Airport, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Arts Development Council, Caffe Habitu, The University of Hong Kong, and over 100 educational providers, cafes and restaurants, and shops.

From then onwards, with a hope to protect our living environment and to contribute towards a community that embraces diversity, City Outlook went through a new team restructure to include more talents from the professional design industry to its Editorial team, and moved away from paper to digital on Facebook. Today, we are pleased to bring you the best of what our Editorial team can offer. We also welcome like-minded talents to submit news and interesting sharings for our consideration on [email protected].
