Announcement for the Laguna Campus:

The 18th of January 2024 (Thursday) has been declared as a Special Non-Working Holiday in Santa Rosa, Laguna in commemoration of the 232nd Founding Anniversary of the City and the 25th Sikyahan Festival.

Hence, synchronous classes (face-to-face and online) and asynchronous activities for OLFU Laguna's Senior High School students are hereby suspended on this day.

However, key offices (Admissions, Registrar’s, Student Financial Services) as well as the online services of the OLFU Concierge will remain open to accommodate students and provide enrollment assistance.

Fatimanians! Are you ready for the journey of a brand new year? 👀✨️
How are you? You did well this year, Fatimanians! We're very proud of how you've come this far. For every accomplishment, and for every silent battle, for every pain you've been through, you still survived this year! We are very PROUD OF YOU! 🫂🫶

2023 wasn't easy for everyone to go through. Each of us has a different definition of this year based on our experiences. Maybe for some people, 2023 is full of joy, but for others it's a difficult year for them. This year was a roller coaster ride. We've experienced a lot of tears, pain, joy, and laughter. We lose some friends, lovers, our loved ones, yet we meet some amazing persons we did not expect. We encountered some failure and success, and met the weakest but also the strongest version of ourselves. 2023 taught us a lot of lessons in our life. If this year was not your best story, may this 2024 be your chapter masterpiece.🍀✨️

As the year draws to a close, let's treasure the moments we shared with those who crossed our paths and say a bittersweet farewell to those we lost this year. In life, in several moments, people come and go; they will knock on your heart and will abruptly leave for any reason. But what significantly weighs heavier is that you learn to remain open for every new beginning that will land on your doorstep. At the end of the day, love and forgiveness should be greater than anger and regret; that's why we should be grateful for every person who took part in our lives, whether in a positive or negative way. May their memories shine a light on our path ahead, and let the new year bring comfort, resilience, and renewed hope to all those touched by both happiness and sorrow. 💚💫

We may have thought of giving up countless times this year as we encountered friendship or personal relationship break-ups, but this can also serve as a reminder not to force relationships, not settle for what we do not deserve, let go of that baggage, and to practice self-love in 2024 as there are people who see your worth as a person waiting for you in the future. It is indeed a privilege to approach the upcoming year as to exist is to make a change. We also may have committed mistakes this year, but we must learn to forgive ourselves and give ourselves a chance to grow and change. Still can't process all of the happenings from last December 14? OLMB has your back with its AVP to sum it all up!

Before the festivities started, the University asked for guidance and blessings to our Lord by holding a Thanksgiving Mass presided by Rev. Fr. Nicanor Lalog. The sacred ceremony unfolded with grace and reverence at the Campus Covered Court, serving as a spiritual prelude to the upcoming festivities. Everybody then stepped into a winter wonderland of festive cheer as the Christmas Party program started. The winter wonderland had come to life not just in the decor but in the shared moments of joy as the master of ceremonies set the stage and as the Sining Indak Dance Troupe made our jaws drop again with their flawless performance.

Students from different strands and colleges made the atmosphere festive with their sweet and harmonious voices partnered with their fascinating dance skills as they performed for the Christmas Glee — a festive carol partnered with a dance performance. Between each glee performance, the most awaited raffle that promises an array of coveted prizes — earbuds, phone, cash and even a flatscreen TV — happened. The night was then ended by a same day edit from OLFU Laguna Media Bureau.

Not everyone may have won the raffle but it sure is that everyone will have something to go home with, whether it be a picture with their crush or a shared of treasured memories with their friends. It really is the most wonderful time of the year! 🎄

With its sparkling lights and lively activities, this enjoyable Christmas party event left us with memories that will bring us joy long into the New Year. Did you enjoy yourself? Thus the OLFU-Laguna Christmas celebration was undoubtedly a huge success. It was a performance and entertainment event with many visually striking parols, tons of entertaining games, and RAFFLES to WIN! Because PAMASKO is, of course, an inevitable component of any Christmas festivity! 🎄💚✨

To wrap up the celebration, an enjoyable same-day edit video was provided by OLFU Laguna Media Bureau, summarizing all of the activities that took place. Showing that this Christmas celebration is, at its core, more than just a social gathering. An occasion to celebrate the virtues of giving and camaraderie that represent the Christmas season, and opportunity to share happiness and make lifelong memories. The party may have ended, but the joy in our hearts lingered on ❤️

It has truly been an exuberant and grand day at Our Lady of Fatima University - Laguna as Fatimanians join in for the Students' Christmas Party 2023. From vibrant performances to elated crowds, to thrilling raffle prizes, to singing of Christmas carols, Fatimanians indeed rocked the night away in this joyous and dazzling occasion. Along with love, inspiration and transformation, this spectacular event has also brought us the sense of togetherness, which we all dearly felt in the company of shared friendships. And speaking of which, with the presence of our University President, Dr. Caroline Marian S. Enriquez, along with other Fatima officials and teachers, that sense of togetherness is strengthened as we all gleefully mark the occasion as one big, happy family.

As Christmas comes closer, we can feel the excitement and cold air in our campus. The gymnasium was filled with enthusiasm and joy, therefore it was such a fun way to end the semester! The students danced and sang creatively and gracefully that added up to the Christmas vibes around us. And as we end the year, congratulations to every student who survived the First Semester. Our Lady Of Fatima University Laguna Campus celebrated a festive Christmas party on December 14, 2023. The campus underwent a magical transformation, turning into a wonderland that illuminated hearts with joy. Amidst twinkling lights, joyful laughter, and the warm embrace of the festive spirit, the atmosphere was filled with merriment.The melodious sounds of carols filled the air, creating a harmonious backdrop to the party. The corridors were filled with the enticing aroma of festive treats, inviting everyone to join in the celebration.

The evening's highlight was a captivating dance competition along with their joyous voices that added a melodic touch to the evening, filling the air with harmonies that resonated with the festive spirit that showcased not only our school's outstanding skills but also our students' boundless enthusiasm and creativity. The dazzling dance floor with multiple rounds of raffle draws added an extra layer of excitement to the parties. Lucky participants won prizes ranging from holiday gifts to cash, spreading smiles and holiday cheer throughout the crowd.

The warmth of shared smiles and the echo of cheerful conversations lingered, creating memories that will forever dance in our hearts like sugar plums in a wintry dream.

We will cherish the echoes of this finished Christmas party - a symphony of love, laughter, and the timeless enchantment of the holiday season in the hallowed halls of our school - until the sleigh bells ring again and the surroundings are filled with the melody of joyful celebration. Ample attention and open hearts of the crowd was offered for the Thanksgiving Mass held at Our Lady of Fatima University-Laguna.
May the statement of Rev. Fr. Nicanor F. Lalog II, will serve as a lesson and reminder to each of us. A lesson that love is not all about happiness and pleasure. Love also has sacrifices, pain, and responsibilities. A reminder that love is not just a word or feelings, but also an instrument to shape us as a person.

With hearts instilled with those inspiring words of Fr. Nicanor, students of OLFU-Laguna became more enthusiastic to determine each of their purposes at that moment. It was then abruptly followed with the eagerness to proceed in the most awaited Christmas Party that they truly believe will make their hearts happy and their souls alive!

Flashing smiles can be seen to every Fatimanians as if they knew what's coming next...

Students’ Christmas Party at Our Lady of Fatima University Laguna: Thanksgiving Mass

The Our Lady of Fatima University Laguna Campus started its Loving, Inspiring, Transforming Christmas Party with a Thanksgiving Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Nicanor F. Lalog II at the Campus Covered Court at 4 o’clock in the afternoon on December 14, 2023. The mass started with a mellifluous processional hymn titled “Emmanuel” sung by the Koro De Fatima. Shortly, Rev. Fr. Nicanor F. Lalog II said that humans are valued and loved because God chose to love us. For instance, St. John of the Cross suffered countless rejections by his fellows, but he continued to love. With that, he stated as well that “𝓐 𝓼𝓸𝓾𝓵 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓼 𝓲𝓼 𝓷𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻 𝓽𝓲𝓻𝓮𝓭 𝓷𝓸𝓻 𝓰𝓮𝓽𝓼 𝓽𝓲𝓻𝓮𝓭” and that to love is not a natural human ability; we are able to love and be loved because we experience the love of God.

Moreover, he added that “𝓐𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓪𝓸𝓷𝓰 𝓷𝓪𝓱𝓲𝓱𝓲𝓻𝓪𝓹𝓪𝓷 𝓼𝓪 𝓹𝓪𝓰𝓶𝓪𝓶𝓪𝓱𝓪𝓵 𝓪𝔂 𝓵𝓪𝓵𝓸𝓷𝓰 𝓷𝓪𝓰𝓶𝓪𝓶𝓪𝓱𝓪𝓵” implying that there will always be suffering and sacrifices in real love and as we face these challenges with the person we love, our love for them grows even more. In addition, this goes with the saying "𝓣𝓸 𝓫𝓮 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓭 𝓲𝓼 𝓽𝓸 𝓫𝓮 𝓬𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓰𝓮𝓭". Love is present when we are transformed into a better person; we are inspired to love to bring forgiveness, greatness, and transform into the one we love. To conclude, we must choose to love someone who inspires us.
