a space mission with the participation of NASA will check the data on the detection in the atmosphere of Venus of one of the signs of the existence of life - traces of a colorless poisonous gas phosphine. She will try to find microorganisms that can produce such a gas. Lyudmila Zasova, a leading researcher at the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, spoke about this in an interview with RT. Earlier, British and American scientists reported finding traces of phosphine gas of unknown origin in the acid clouds of Venus. According to Zasova, the discovery of traces of phosphine gas on Venus may indicate the presence of microorganisms similar to those that live on Earth.
