“It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” - Mark 2:17

Today, I reflect on the incredible grace of Jesus. He came for us all, offering healing, redemption, and love to those who need it most. Just like our physical temple, our hearts need constant care and attention. I’m so grateful for the compassion and forgiveness He gives us each day.

Let’s take care of our bodies and souls, honoring the gift of life He’s given us. 🙏

As I look back on 2024, I am grateful and hopeful. I am grateful for the memories that I was able to make with my family and friends. I am grateful for all the years that we got to have Popper by our side, even though I am very sad that we lost our beloved dog after almost 13 years. If you knew him, you knew he was the best dog ever.

I am grateful that Michael and I are able to watch our children grow into the young men and woman God created them to be. I love being able to watch my children thrive in the sports that they are passionate about. I am grateful we’ve been able to spend time with our family and friends on the boat that we built 4 years ago with help from our family and friends.
I am grateful that God led me to take a bold step this year and become a Realtor along with my son, Justus.

I am hopeful. I am hopeful that the people I love are right where God has them. I am hopeful that those who are struggling will find their answers this year. I am hopeful that as I wind down my career in education, I will find colleagues and friends who have the same passion for my students, and the transition will be seamless when God says it is time.

I am hopeful that the decisions we’ve made in 2024 will lead along the path that God has in 2025. I am hopeful that Justus and I will gain clients and run with grace and favor in this new endeavor. I am hopeful that Michaylah will thrive in her new school and take steps towards her passions and goals. I am hopeful that this nation will finally see that we need to take care of each other as neighbors and not depend on a big government, but rather our God and community. I am hopeful that God‘s will prevails and it prevails with love and hope, peace and prosperity.

Happy beginning of 2025!

Let’s do this💜

On the afternoon of October 13, 1947, an Air Force B-17 aircraft penetrated a hurricane 415 miles (667 km) east of Jacksonville and dumped several pounds of crushed dry ice into the storm, just to see what would happen.  This was the first attempt to modify a tropical cyclone by seeding it with fre...

Robin Williams once said, “I think the people who have experienced the greatest sadness are the ones who always put the hardest effort to make others happy. Because they know in their flesh what it feels like to feel desolate and down and they don’t want anyone else to feel that way.” Pics are from the movie What Dreams May Come

Let’s lift one another up today😊
