Today was the first day of the pumpkin-themed weekend at Szent István Square, Szeged. After a pumpkin carving competition, the artists of Kövér Béla Puppet Theater performed in the afternoon. The day ended with an unusual sight - the celebratory light painting of the square’s 120-years-old famous water tower.

Brecht’s classic premieres on November 29.

The rehearsals of Bertolt Brecht's play The Caucasian Chalk Circle started yesterday at the Kisszínház, the smaller stage of the National Theatre of Szeged. The production, directed by Márk Tárnoki, will be staged with exciting acting and musical interludes starting November 29.
