Today, I covered S1E7: We Hold These Truths, which aired on October 28, 2002.

In this episode as Dr. Brown operates on Amy's comatose boyfriend Colin with the help of his friend and surgery partner from New York, Dr. Brian Holderman, Amy leans on Ephram for support as she awaits the outcome. Meanwhile, an emotional Bright breaks down and admits what actually happened the day of the car accident.

I really enjoyed this episode. Brian was a delight. I enjoyed seeing Nina and having her give Ephram some advice. I thought Chris Pratt as Bright did a good job towards the end giving a teary confession. I also want to give a shout out to Mike Erwin who plays Collin Hart, who we get to meet pre coma in flashbacks from four months earlier at the Fourth of July festivities and learn what happened on that day of the accident.

I loved Amy and Collin together. They were so cute. I also loved Ephram's line about the Twix candy bar. Could be used as a great first line set up for talking to your crush, but you have to be standing in front of a vending machine that has a Twix Candy bar for it to work.

I learned as of 2020, the game Clue does come in travel size.

Hey Everyone,

Today, I covered S1E6: The Doctor Is In, which aired on October 21, 2002.

In this episode Amy is heartbroken and Ephram is furious when Andy decides against performing a risky operation on Amy's comatose boyfriend. Meanwhile, Delia is forbidden from playing with her only friend, Magilla, after his parents discover them playing dress up; and a traveling psychologist, Dr. Trott, creates quite a stir in the Everwood community.

I really enjoyed this episode as we delve deeper into the lives of the Browns and the Abbotts.

Ephram is still crushing hard on Amy to the point of writing her a song, Delia has to say goodbye to Magilla and we learn the reason from Edna why his parents are keeping him and Delia from hanging out together.

Andy is struggling with whether or not he should perform risky but possible life saving surgery on Colin Hart. Amy is hell bent on convincing the Hart's that they should go ahead and let Dr. Brown operate on Colin, and they give her some shocking news.

I felt for all these characters and their personal dilemmas and can't wait as we see what's to come in the next episodes.

Hey Everyone,

Today, I covered S1E5: Deer God, which aired on October 14, 2002.

In this episode, After a lost deer makes the Browns' backyard its new home, Andy insists on accompanying Ephram, who decides to help the animal find its way home to the wilderness. Meanwhile, Ephram finally admits to Amy that he never asked his father to consider operating on her boyfriend, Colin, who is in a coma; and Delia questions the existence of God.

I really enjoyed Andy and Ephram's journey with "Bambi" the deer and Ephram's realization that he can't go home again.

I really enjoyed Harold and Amy's time spent working on his bio that she wrote for him in the Pinecone (Everwood's Newspaper) and Amy commenting on Harold's "boy crush" on Andy was hilarious.

Delia searching for God in this episode while being babysat by Edna was heartwarming. I love their bond.

I really enjoyed this episode.

Irv and Edna as he comforts her as she’s missing her first husband Hal Sr it’s especially hard when she gets news that The Kissing Bridge is set to be demolished, a lot of her history with her first husband is wrapped up in the bridge, from their first kiss, to their proposal and then the reveal of her pregnancy with Harold their first child.

I loved Andy and Harold trading parenting tips of how best to discipline their children while on their way to Denver to pick up Amy and Ephram.

Ephram’s selfless act of helping Amy head to Denver to visit a still comatose Collin to ask him to go to the Fall Dance with her.

Poor Delia is still plugging away at trying to nail down a friendship with Magilla who when she visits reveals a secret sweet side of himself.

Edna and Harold at the sight of The Kissing Bridge as Edna closes the door and on her past by blowing up the bridge, her way of grieving.

Hey Everyone,

Today, I covered S1E3: Friendly Fire, which aired on September 30, 2002.

In this episode Andy's neighbor and friend Nina is ostracized by the townspeople when they discover she is a surrogate mother for a woman in her mid-50s. Andy's clumsy attempt to come to Nina's defense backfires, but she turns to him and Ephram for help when the baby makes an unexpectedly early arrival. Meanwhile, Ephram is dealt an emotional blow when Amy dis-invites him to a party in order to gain the approval of her friends, and Delia attempts to befriend the school bully, Magilla.

I really enjoyed this episode, we have the three separate storylines going on in this episode, Andy and Nina, patient/doctor conflict, lesson: Andy needs to keep his mouth shut and not make everything about him = apology to Nina, Ephram and Amy, party invite/uninvite, lesson: Amy needs to stand up to her friends = apology to Ephram and lastly, Delia and Magilla foe/friend?, lesson: letting someone take your stuff in hopes they'll be your friend is just desperate and in the end you wind up with nothing and no friend = Delia takes Magilla's black cord metal skull choker in hopes that he'll return her stuff = a phone call from Magilla, apology?
