डिप्टी सीएम चौटाला से मिले अफगानी स्टूडेंट्स अफगानिस्तानी स्टूडेंट्स की टोली रोहतक में छात्र संगठन इनसो के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष प्रदीप देशवाल की अगुवाई में हरियाणा के उप मुख्यमंत्री दुष्यंत चौटाला से मिली, तो अपनी चिंताएं जाहिर कीं। अफगानिस्तानी स्टूडेंट्स के प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने बताया कि, भारत व अफगानिस्तान सरकार के बीच समझौते के तहत यहां यूनिवर्सिटी में 12 अफगानिस्तानी स्टूडेंट्स पढ़ने आए। जिनमें से 9 कोरोनाकाल में वापस अफगानिस्तान लौट गए, जबकि अभी 3 यहीं रहकर पढ़ाई कर रहे हैं। कुछ दिन इन्हें यूनिवर्सिटी के इंटरनेशनल हॉस्टल में रखा गया। हालांकि, जब कोविड-19 की वजह से हॉस्टल बंद हुए तो इन्होंने पीजी में आश्रय ले लिया। स्टूडेंट्स ने उप मुख्यमंत्री दुष्यंत चौटाला से कहा कि, वे अफगानिस्तान से अपने पेरेंट्स से खर्च चलाने के लिए पैसे मंगा लेते थे। मगर, अब चूंकि वहां संकट आ पड़ा है, इधर हमारे पैसे भी खत्म हो गए हैं। अफगानिस्तान में मची अफरा-तफरी की वजह से परिजन पैसे नहीं भेज पा रहे हैं। वहां हमारी बात भी नहीं हो पा रही।...

NEW DELHI: The Centre on Wednesday approved India's ratification of the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol on phasing down climate-damaging refrigerant Hydroflurocarbons (HFCs). The Amendment to gradually reduce use of HFCs by the late 2040s was adopted by 197 countries in Rwanda in October 2016. Under its commitment to the Montreal Protocol, India will complete its phase down of HFCs, used in air-conditioners, refrigerators and insulating foams, in four steps from 2032 onwards with cumulative reduction of 10% in 2032, 20% in 2037, 30% in 2042 and 80% in 2047 over 2024-26 baseline....

The study published by Women’s World Banking and Bank of Baroda estimates that by serving 10 crore low-income women public sector banks could attract Rs 25,000 crore in deposits and empower 40 crore low-income Indians. The report recommends that banks design products for women that allows them to make small deposits and overcome inhibiting factors....
