This picture contains the small handprint of my eldest son, and while I love it so much, today it reminds me of how dirty kids hands are and how quickly germs spread. Maybe it’s the season of sickness we’ve been in!? 😜 Lol I hate that I’m (Marla) thinking this way, but I doubt you’ll be surprised that we didn’t get together today bc someone at Mandy’s has was vomiting yesterday. You’re probably even less surprised to hear that despite our separation and attempts to stop the germs from spreading this same sickness (I assume) has run it’s course through 2 other homes in our 4 sister group. 🤦🏽‍♀️ All that to say, no episode today. Whomp.

Bed, a place of rest, where sleep takes place, dreams are born, and sometimes where healing occurs. I wish we had a podcast for you this week Karla, but a few of us are sick again or have sick kiddos were tending to. My son has been laying in my bed resting the majority of the last 48 hours. I never thought I’d see so much sickness in such a short period of time, but here we are! All of our families have been sick on and off for months, and it doesn’t seem to matter if we avoid each other or not. Healthy one week, sick the next. I promise, I’m not looking for pity, we’re all actually in pretty good spirits about it, it just sucks we’ve not been able to all be together many Wednesday’s this winter. Maybe God is refining us? Immune systems are working and building, and God is STILL good. I pray we’ll get through this season so we can provide you ladies with more episodes. In the mean time, we’re doing our best to heal! Hey friends! You’ve probably noticed that we haven’t released a podcast in a few weeks! As many of you know we all caught rona right before Christmas. Soon after that Tabby’s 3rd child Warren was born, and since then we’ve all been battling other sicknesses. We hope to put out an episode soon, but we also want to say that bc of all the sickness going around there may be weeks where we are unable to post bc we haven’t been able to get together. We’ve released episodes where we’ve recorded via a service that allows us to do it from home, but it really isn’t our favorite way of recording. We feel episodes turn out best when we’re all sitting around the table. That being said please have patience with us as we navigate this season of immune system building! Lol

We of course had to weigh in on this, mainly because we discovered a comment thread that assumed the shooter was bullied, and suggested he had no other option than to kill others or himself. Does that sounds right to you? We didn’t think so.
