Epsilon: The Last Line’s Story
Epsilon is a radio play in the original sense taking on the new form of a podcast. It is a 10 part miniseries where you the audience members are a part of this immersive city called Epsilon. Here you tune in to hear The Last Line, the rag-tag group of rebels and their amateur radio station as they work to combat the tyrant cyborg-like massive creations that have taken your city and nearly destroyed it in the last seven years. In a fight over the airwaves and on the ground, you hear the Lords and their own radio shows go toe to toe with The Last Line and their message of hope for the city in their fight for the fate of Epsilon.
The storyteller behind all of this is me! Elyse Haws! This is my narrative podcast that is now 3 years in the making. Being a huge nerd, a fan of so many sci-fi works, and cyberpunk material I knew I had to make something to tell my own story, and that is where this crazy idea came from. I am currently a student at the University of Central Florida, and I am studying film. I am always looking to hone my craft whether it's my screenwriting skills at our Screenwriting Club or if it is something I do in my off time such as paint video game landscapes or work on cosplay. Right now I am working in the LARP gaming industry and if I am not trapped in the editing lab at school creating for my work, then I am typically in class or on a set in my off time usually working in production design doing anything from make-up SFX to set design. Between all of these things that keep me busy, I love to write these fantastical stories that come to me while I am off getting a break to sit and write.
