Its been a while instagram but I am finally back with a new look!

I took some time off to recoup, refocus and not to forget enjoy some holidays in too. What have I learnt from my time away from social?

Its ok to not always know the next direction for your own business. There are alot of decisions to make, its ok if you don't know the anwser to them all.

There will always be change- what you once liked you now may not, methods that once worked may need adapting and of course algorthims will never be the same! Change is sometimes frustrating but it will be worth the ride.

You can't do it all- working until midnight, trying to fit it all in will only leave you with burn out. Set boundaries and leave some time for you too!

I am excited to be back doing the things I love, meeting amazing businesses, inspirational people and helping as many on the way to achieve their goals.

Here’s a little about me:
📚 I’m in my forth year studying Marketing Management part time at University of South Wales.

✈️ I previously worked 3 years in the aviation sector, working in a Communication and Marketing team.

📝 I am currently studying towards a PRCA course and have part took in CIM Marketing in Action qualification.

🏡 I live in the Vale of Glamorgan. I enjoy the outdoors, family time, travelling and eating out.

Mood boards, mood boards, mood boards!!

Is anyone else wanting to switch up there aesthetics now the season is changing?!

I know that mood boards help me visualise aesthetics better and gives me focus when creating content. Don’t over complicate it and enjoy it, I love creating mood boards for my business, my clients and my personal goals... when you are struggling for inspiration a mood board can help give you that little boost in the right direction.

Find some time this week to create a mood board, whether its cutting up photos and sticking the on a board or digitally on platforms such as Canva! I promise you will enjoy it!

How did you find the Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp outage?

For me it was like loosing an extension of my business... but it did show the importance of social media for communicating with clients/customers and how reactive businesses can be within a unpredicted event.

I loved seeing the reactive posts on Twitter from businesses surrounding the outage and it highlighted the importance of flexibility in social media. Content scheduling is a good way to plan but being rigid in that plan will leave you missing out on trends and make your business look automated. Try looking at what is going on and trending in your industry and create some reactive content surrounding it.

I think we all appreciated waking up this morning to business as usual 👏🏽

SEO what is it? And how can focusing your keywords help your business?

SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) is an unpaid targeting method with the aim to drive organic traffic to your business’ website. Focusing your websites interface, back links and keywords will improve the quality and quantity of your website traffic.

So lets talk about keywords? Getting your keywords right is important to ensuring you are showing up when your target audience search for your product or service.

Simply put, consider your audience... what they are searching for when they are looking for your product/ service? What are their pain points? What area are they based in? What words describe your business best? What words in your industry are trending right now? These are just a handful of questions you can ask yourself when building your keywords.

Now shape content on your website around these, including them in headings when you can to help the search engine crawl your website. Make sure you keep it relevant to your business.

This is just one step to SEO that can help you grow your website traffic ORGANICALLY!
