I got picture mail from therapy today 😊 They said he’s full of smiles again! Which makes my heart so happy!

But I lost it laughing when I realized it was a LIVE picture…. 🤣😂 before the picture was captured he kept pressing URANUS on his speech device and you can hear him and his therapist cracking up laughing 🤣

First day back to therapy after being out for a week from being sick! He’s so happy ❤️

This is what safe freedom looks like for my son! If you see us in public you will see our child attached to me or his father.

My son has Elopement, also known as wandering, bolting, or fleeing, is when a person with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) leaves a safe area or caregiver without permission.

It can be a very dangerous situation if we don’t take this kind of precautions when out in public places.

My child doesn’t understand danger.

Independence is a very important skill to teach everyone, including a child with ASD. But you have to do it safely.

Yes people stare, it used to bother me. But it doesn’t anymore. I know that where ever we go my child is safe.

I think I have whatever he has though. My throat is so sore!

Not feeling the greatest today, but M&M’s for breakfast are helping apparently 🤣 Jax said “Thank you Daddy” ❤️

Sharing a difficult moment: This week has been incredibly tough as my son has been struggling with severe behavioral issues related to his autism.

Despite our best efforts, redirection has been nearly impossible, and it's been heartbreaking to witness.

Autism presents unique challenges, and this week has been a stark reminder of just how tough it can be.

Sending love and strength to all families navigating similar struggles.
