Today I reflect on how much my life is evolving. Happy 2024 friends!
I am reflecting on a lesson I learned from a mentor earlier today. I have experienced a lot of backlash from people that didnât want to see me grow over the past few years and I started to look at others as better than me. She reminded methat I had the power to lead. Sometimes we spend so much time making others feel comfortable that we adapt and discredit ourselves,remember you have power! In September of 1998 I was a high school freshman getting ready to kick off my first year of high school An exciting yet terrifying time. Around this time I entered a talent search hoping to be discovered as a model. During the selection round I was rejected as not being a fit for the agency. The next 20 years I would struggle with weight issues, body image and self esteem issues until finally growing into a place of self acceptance. After this modelling opportunities began to manifest in my life. This photo is a symbol of me going back to tell little Meghan her dreams came true. Remember, sometimes dreams might take longer than we hope, but that doesnât mean that they will not come true, it took me over 20 years, donât give up â¤ď¸đ.

I am a huge fan of eyebrow shaping. I am preparing for up and coming photo collaborations with my brand partners, and I was left with a dilemma. Knowing how important the right eyebrow shape is, I had to decide between shaping, waxing or threading. I came to the conclusion that shaping was the most appropriate choice, and invested in some mini razors. These razors are not only handy for shaping eyebrows, but they are also great for hair removal on the face and bikini line ( No razor burn or ingrown hairs as an added bonus â¤ď¸).
On January 16th we recognize Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. My knowledge of Dr. Kingâs Work has expanded over the years and today I am very honoured to have had the opportunity to work with different leaders at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Centre for Non Violent Social Change to improve my leadership and activism efforts throughout my community and my country. I just want to share with all of you a bit about my cyber bullying experience and why you shouldnât let haters take you down. Before I started modelling I was social media advocate for mental health, addiction recovery and anti racism. I would openly share insights about my life, causes I was promoting, and inspirational quotes to name a few. While I was networking would come across and meet many people, and every so often I would meet people who turned out to be extremely toxic. I donât like to judge others, but when you are being full on attacked for the way you look, it effects your self esteem. Many of the opportunities I have received came despite getting a ton of likes,comments, and follows. While some companies are more data focused, there are many opportunities for up and coming influencers and models. I still get judged, people hate on me, criticize my writing and my appearance, but at the end of the day people still see opportunities in my God given abilities. I am a grown woman and I am using this space to empower my followers and let them know that they can achieve their goals despite hate and criticism, thatâs one of the reasons I share and create here on social media Iam not just here to sell you my products, and pose, I am here to empower change and lead by example. I will not tolerate bullying and hateful comments on this page, if you are mean, I report you so be kind and respect your fellow humans.

I was doing research on content topics and I absolutely loved this definition of choreography from an article published by website National Today. In the article choreography is described as dance writing : the art of creating and arranging dance movements, I canât think of a more beautiful way of describing a choreographer.
