Now was the time, where lotus flowers bloom in central Vietnam. At this occasion, Jim Grootes and me, tried, how well we work together. We brought two girls, wearing Ao dai, to make the picture of Vietnamese beauty perfect. But what can go wrong, when two videographers have the same vision?

I really enjoy, to film 5 star hotels and actually would like, to give it a go in future. They try to make the place beautiful already, so my job is then, to show it from the very best side, the hotel can be shown. This video was my very first one of this kind, many things still went a bit sideways, but I think, the video is still nice to watch.

Recently, we filmed a video for a famous tailor (Kimmy Tailor) in Hoi An. Watch, how you can easily get a new suit or dress tailored within one day.

Here you see the making off and also the final video after.

It is always amazing, what I learn, when I make videos. In this video, I found out, how difficult it actually is, to make a suit, how much work it is, and how skilled some people are, and do this job, while making it look so easy and effortless.

Here is a new horse in the stable. I had a normal GPS drone for the traditional drone footage (the grey one in the background), then a up to 200 kph fast FPV drone, best to use outside, and now one FPV drone, with which I can do flythroughs, fly inside buildings for my customers. Now I am ready for every case and situation.

Yeah, it seems to be getting a disease in my job, when I sell something and hold a camera in my hand, or why else would I even make a video out of it? 😄 Is anyone interested in my drone in best condition?
- 1 Drone DJI FPV

ANNIVERSARY!!

Today three years ago, I opened my company and was self employed. Now, I can finally say, that after 3 long years, I have a logo for my company, and it is about time! Maybe you can remember, that a looong time ago, I asked you for your opinion for one logo-idea, I had, but in the end, I was just too picky and didn´t like any of them.
The process started many times over and over again, until I finally can introduce you one of the simpler ideas, the logo you see today.

So happy birthday to BetterAskHeiko - now with logo.

I really LOVE to meet, film and tell the story of people´s lives! Here you see a few examples, that I fimed already. If you know someone, who also has a good story about their life to tell, please don´t hesitate to contact me. Their story can be literally about anything, about difficulties, they overcome, about love, about hard lives, tradition, even about people, who try hard to become a model.

The past days, I was working the whole days, to get the right footage (more than 30 hours of footage, I searched for it), in order to make a little video, to grab the attention of some people and make clear, what I am looking for: great stories.

Explanation to the screenshot: Above the line is the footage, the visuals (already cleaned up), and below the line is the audio with quite some sound design. As you can see, the sound is also very important and makes 50% of the video.

Do you sometimes make videos? Do you worry about the sound at all, or is it for you just important, to have a nice soundtrack?

The walking street around the Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi is always very busy in evening times. You can see people do traditional couple dance, do rope skipping, traditional games, or K-Pop dance shows, like in this video.

It has been some time, since I made a music video, which i really enjoy, too, so I just used the footage and cut it a little bit. Of course, I didn´t get paid for that, it was just a quick cut, just for fun and just for you guys.

It felt for me just like back in Seoul a couple months ago, there I also filmed some K-Pop shows. Did you ever see one?

After being back from Japan and doing a roadtrip for 1500 km on the bike through Vietnam´s beautiful North, I filmed this cool football juggler. Was great fun, but unfortunately, my Gopro 11 was destroyed that day while filming. Nevertheless, I like the short clip anyway. How many times can you juggle a football? 😂😂
