This is HOW we do it at The Empowering Young Women Mentoring Programme in Africa.
We aim to inspire, to empower and foster, giving women and girls in vulnerable situations the courage to believe in themselves and to pursue their dreams.
Our girls at Saint Martins’ School are our real heroines but they want to tribute you today with this video. They are teenage students trapped by lack of opportunity, living at the risk of sexual harassment, surrounded by violence, and suffering from lack of upbringing. They become vulnerable, even though, they believe, they smile, they strive, and thrive.
We’ve been working together for the last 4 years succeeding with our Empowering Young Women Mentorship Programme extended to the Journalism Extracurricular Club at School and we cannot thank enough for the blessing that has been empowering these beautiful girls to become future female leaders, global changers of their communities and the entire world.
