Newton was studying alchemy, and Yung was studying alchemy. If alchemy it’s making from s**t, something valuable, then we are doing alchemy.

Making movies with zero budget is entirely against contemporary policy, which converts big budgets into s**tty films.

About alchemy in cinema, the recipe is quite simple for everyone. Just take no budget (or a zero budget as you prefer), a cheap mirrorless camera, the 5 pages of script, a half-broken laptop, pirated software (optional) and a little bit of obsession, paranoia, love and hate (add to taste).
You’ll get something made from nothing, but it not gonna be awesome. You should never apologize for being an alchemist. Another thing that you are sorry about is the emptiness and superficiality of contemporary cinema. That’s not because it reflects modern society. That’s because producers are always looking for new projects and finding new projects that are not yours. You love big studios (not really). Loving big studios is like loving Monopoly. Loving Disney is like loving Benito Mussolini. You want to make movies not because the others make them good but because they make them not good enough. Cheers!

Here is a joke.
In April, Russia has taken the presidency of the UN Security Council while continuing the systematic genocide of civilians in Ukraine. So, the gang that is killing, ra**ng stealing, kidnapping, and threatening is in charge of world security.
The people who at this very moment make genocide preside over the most respectful world org whose main purpose is to maintain international peace and security.
It would be the same situation if you had a ra**st coworker and instead of firing him or leaving the company, you made him a CEO of the company. Would you buy something from a company whose CEO is a ra**st or killer?
After all, those UN statements about developing friendly relations among nations, achieving international cooperation, etc. all smell a little strange to eat unless you like s**t.
