Rhiannon is a 34 year old Secondary School Physical Education Teacher.

Exercise, Health, and Fitness have always been a passion of hers, growing up playing representative Volleyball and Netball from a very young age. Today she still play these sports at a competitive level and cannot see herself never not participating in a team sport.

At the age of 18, she was gang r***d by a group of 5 men after getting separated from her friends on a night out. This night left her feeling vulnerable, unsafe, and like she was to blame for what happened. Out of fear, guilt, and shame, she told nobody about what happened to her and wouldn't find the courage to seek help until 2 years after the incident.

During that time she developed complex PTSD, Chronic Anxiety, and Anorexia Nervosa. Finally, telling her mum what happened to she managed to voice what she’d been hiding from the world. Today she shares her story with us.

Tonight’s VIP is Mr. Chris Miskel, CEO of KENDRE Music Group.

Chris is naturally gifted to do what he loves. He said he has never taken formal lessons and has gained the majority of his inspiration from mentors, Oscar Seaton Jr. and Khari Parker.
He has admiration for Steve Gadd, Steve Jordan, Vinnie Colaiuta, and Dave Weckl.

In 2003, Chris began touring with guitarist Nick Colionne and in late 2006, with smooth jazz artist Brian Culbertson during his Soulful Christmas tour. He is currently touring with Brian Culbertson and Will Downing but has performed with a variety of artists.

By playing with many musicians, Chris has acquired the ability to play the drums in multiple styles and genres of music. He believes adapting to various musical situations is essential to being a well-rounded musician.

When Chris is home between tours, he continues strengthening his drumming techniques, solos, and improvisation by performing in local clubs and participating in jam sessions.

According to Chris, "The vibe you receive from playing in local clubs allows you to stretch out and just play! Playing what I feel and being able to transcend my vibe to the fans and get a reaction from them is what makes my job wonderful".

Marqueal’s solo debut album, Catalyst, was released in October 2013. It helped to establish him as an emerging artist in Smooth & Contemporary Jazz. After leaving Brian Culbertson’s band in the summer of 2018 to focus on his solo career, he recorded his second project, Intention & Purpose. Released in February 2019, the album is a musical journey through Contemporary Jazz, Soul/R&B, and Hip Hop, and it showcases his growing skills as a songwriter, arranger, and producer. The album yielded two Top 20 hits on the Billboard Smooth Jazz Singles Chart, “If You Only Knew” and “The Edge”. Currently, Marqueal has put the finishing touches on his third solo album, All We Have Are Moments. After several delays, the album was released in early 2022. The album’s lead single, “Last Call”, was released in March 2021 and was well received by SiriusXM Watercolors and Smooth Jazz Radio.

In addition to leading and touring with his own band, Marqueal occasionally tours with The Legendary Isley Brothers and the prodigious Guitarist/Vocalist Isaiah Sharkey. He has also shared the stage with some of the greats in music, performing with legends such as Gerald Albright, Patti Austin, Peabo Bryson, Jonathan Butler, Will Downing, George Duke, Candy Dulfer, Floetry, Aretha Franklin, Larry Graham, Buddy Guy, Lalah Hathaway, Al Jarreau, Joe, KRS-One, Kenny Lattimore, Maysa, Frank McComb, Marcus Miller, Najee, Mike Phillips, Eric Roberson, David Sanborn, Jill Scott, Sy Smith, and Kirk Whalum. In Chicago, he still performs locally with Brother John Kattke and Midnight Sun Band. Marqueal also collaborates with Chicago-based artist/producer DJ I.N.C., and has been featured on numerous projects of I.N.C.’s since 2000. Marqueal Jordan is a humble man who is focused on achieving greatness through his music and his deeds. Marqueal was recognized by the Chicago Defender as a Man Of Excellence in 2014.

Mavis "Swan" Poole is an artist that's a North Carolina native with an extensive resume working with a wide variety of artists from Lauryn Hill, Gladys Knight, Sheryl Crow, and more.

Her roots in the state run deep as she is a 2007 Magna Cum Laude graduate of North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC. There, she was Classically trained, earning a BA in Music Education and a BM in Music, with a concentration in Jazz Vocal Studies. In 2011, she received her MA in Music, concentrating in Jazz Vocal Performance at Queens College in NYC. She also attended college for Psychology. Currently, SWAN is a Vocal Jazz Adjunct Professor at North Carolina Central University and a 6-12 grade Music Teacher at Sallie B Howard School of the Arts and Sciences.

Her single, "The Assignment" has received WELL over 600,000 streams and she's recently performed at the SXSW festival and at the NYC City Winery alongside Chrisette Michele.

Her new single, "How Do We Grow", was released on May 19th via the Unlimited Wealth Entertainment/Music Matters Entertainment label imprint.
