It is no easy task to try to understand or fathom the full size of the moon, but that is where this map comes in handy. By putting an image of the United States over the moon, you can get a better sense of the moon’s true size, and puts the scale of it much smaller than we would have ever imagined. Crazy what technology can do.

The underwater waterfall of Mauritius is beautiful and scary all at the same time. But this underwater waterfall is playing tricks on the eyes. While this may look like a waterfall that would plummet you to certain death, it is anything but. The illusion is created by the coastlines’ deposits and sand which move across the area and changes the color of the water. It looks so real, it’s hard to imagine it’s anything but a waterfall, but the ocean continues to amaze us.
