My friend has declared this day Winter Plaid Day, so we brought out my new winter jacket for our chilly walkies this morning. How’s your weather looking?

DID YOU KNOW? October 1-7 is National Walk Your Dog Week? Getting out on walks is our favorite part of the day. We try to get out on at least two longer walks per day. We are fortunate have some pretty sweet walk spots right outside our back door. Lots of smells to sniff and birds to watch. Where is your favorite place to go walk?

Thought if I jumped in my bed I could stop mom from spraying my stink away. Joke’s on me because apparently is even safe to spray on me! On the bright side it’s odorless so I have a clean slate to stink up again!

It’s Bam’s gotcha day! One year ago today we were hanging out at home ,scrolling Facebook and saw this little face on a pet store advertisement and decided to drive an hour away “just to see him” because we weren’t doing anything else that night. We hadn’t been talking about getting a dog, planning, researching anything. We decided years ago that we wanted a Frenchie or an English Bulldog when we got one eventually, but it certainly was not in the plans that day or any time soon. 5 minutes with this little guy and we knew we couldn’t go home without him.
Bringing a puppy home wasn’t easy, but I can’t imagine my life without him. 365 days ago I would roll my eyes at the term “dog mom”, friends who canceled or changed plans for their dog, made special meals for their dog, made an INSTAGRAM for their dog lol.
I get it now. I absolutely get it. He’s not just a pet, he is a part of our family. 1 year ago today we made the best impulse decision ever. We love you Bam Bam ❤️
