Being willing to take chances, risks, and failing . . .
Some days my old memories of being back in the UK, literally feels like a past life. I actually have to pinch myself to think that I was living there last year.
Don't get me wrong. . . I. miss my family, friends and the luxury of to being able to leave london and be in the country with my family within an hour. Instead of painting a picture of 'living the dream' through some very rose tinted glasses, these last 18 months have been the most life changing, breath taking, and unpredictable times in my life (my nervous system has taken some big shots). 🙈
Moving overseas has not been easy, starting from scratch with one suitcase (yes only one!), with no idea that you are moving to the other side of the world just before a worldwide pandemic. Hello life crisis. It is NOT easy, but I was doing was following one huge pull, one so large and screaming at me everyday to move here. . .
Before I totally freak you out about moving abroad or living your life as the adventure it should be. . .
Let me tell you this. It was far easier to get on that one way flight then it was to sit miserable, numb, and suppressed in what people still name a 'comfort zone'. I personally would actually call it my DIScomfort zone.
For anyone out there questioning a dream or why they have this feeling to do something, don't question the logic... just follow your heart and do it.
If this resonated with you, please feel free to reach out to me via dm, I would love to enlighten you with the beauty of an uncomfortable life 🤍
