I am a true nerd at heart. Throughout my career I have seen this ever-growing gap between the tabletop gaming community and the health and fitness community. I then made it my passion in life to bridge that gap. I took my love fundamental development and all things nerdy and combined them by becoming an online coach for those who feel they have had been neglected and forgotten by the fitness industry.

123. 📰 The Nostalgia Test News: July '24
Dan & Manny go deep into the July Nostalgic News to see if it passes the ultimate test--THE NOSTALGIA TEST!
July was a very eventful month in the Nostalgia community. Dan & Manny start with sad news, the recent passing of beloved pop-culture icons Shannon Doherty, Richard Simmons, Bob Newhart, and Dr. Ruth. The guys panic about the hydrothermal explosion in Yellowstone National Park and how the park is literally a huge volcano, and they reminisce on their time there during their cross-country road trip. Dan wants to talk about the 1992 NBA Dream Team and the return of Snapple's Elements drink line. Then Dan & Manny get down to business and rip into the upcoming sequels and reboots like Twisters, Alien: Romulus, the newest Karate Kid movie, 28 Years Later, Jurassic World 4, Matrix 5, Final Destination: Bloodlines and more. Plus, why would anyone think a new Naked Gun film starring Liam Neeson would be a good idea?! Finally, Dan & Manny give some of their Nostalgia predictions such as a possible live-action Rugrats or Doug movie adaptation.

Scott talks about what he's been up to since the last time we had him on to discuss his documentary The Orange Years, he tells us about his new project with Phil Moore (host of Nick Arcade) called Game Changers, why he thinks this is the perfect timing for a docu series like Game Changers, some of his favorite nostalgic videogames, his obsession with the Nintendo Power Glove, how kids are coming back to retro games in a big way, and he shares a cautionary tale about being an indie filmmaker that we feel ALL indie artists need to hear.

The film is currently available on Amazon Prime VIdeo, Apple TV, and most places you can buy and rent streaming movies. Dan & Manny welcome back longtime friend Dave Kucich to put the 1992 sports-romantic comedy The Cutting Edge to the ultimate test--THE NOSTALGIA TEST!
