It has been some time since I published video. We will be at the Orlando PGA show this year chronicling the 2025 golf gear and apparel. There have been upgrades to my video gear that expand what we can do in our video productions. Video production gear is improving rapidly, reminding me of the days when computers went obsolete every other year.

Graphite Designs has released a hybrid shaft that matches the profile of the VF driver shaft released last year. The profile is unique. I am seeing a trend for shaft companies to offer matching profiles through the set. The Tour AD VF driver profile is unique and it now has a hybrid partner.

This is not the first time I have reviewed the MCA Kai'li Fairway shafts. I did not have all the profiles in 2020 when I got my first look at them. These profiles were updated and both sets are in the database. It is important to understand how the Kai'li Red FW and Diamana T+ are identical profiles and make a perfect pair of Driver and Fairway shafts in the TaylorMade fitting cart.

There a so many shafts on the measuring bench I am devoting a lot to measuring and reviewing them. the Diamana T+ is an OEM shaft offered at no upcharge by TaylorMade. It stands as an example of the quality that can be delivered if a shaft company is willing to invest in quality control and put decent shafts into the hands of recreational golfers.
