Knowing When To Move On!!!
The way this guy disconnected himself from Nollywood to a more better cause is a clear indication of someone who knows what he truly wants in life, he understood time and season, he would have probably not be an A-list actor if he had remained in today’s industry filled with mediocrity and bunch of talentless folks who chose drama over realness, and that could have ended his career. As a veteran, he paid his dues and took a bow to become a very important lawyer of note in Nigeria, today, he’s more prosperous than what he used to be in the film industry. So many veterans have worn out and d|ed because they lack vision, they wanted to remain in the industry forever without understanding that fame in Nigeria does not last forever. Today he is a great lawyer doing wonders. You’ll always salute him on sight because he’s worthy of emulation. This is an advice to all of you reading this, go back to school to improve yourself if you have to, so you don’t d|e small, no time is late. All hail the erudite Barr. Kenneth Okonkwo!!!

KALOLENI sub-county shall benefit from the revival and upgrading of the historical St. Lukes Hospital and the medical school within it by the county government of Kilifi.

Today group 10 of the County Mashinani program led by H.E Governor Gideon Maitha Mung'aro has made a tour of the Kaloleni sub-county headquarters then to St. Lukes hospital where the Governor recommended for its revival and upgrading alongside the Medical School within the facility- to be able to fill the health gap in the populus Constituency.

As such, the Governor asked the health department to submit an official report on the state of the facility by 14th of April for preparation to fit it in the next financial year.

Later on, we appreciated greetings from the comrade youth and women of Chanagande.

Also present were the area MP Hon Katana, Area MCA Birya and Mwanamwinga MCA and Chairman of County Assembly Health Committee Hon. . Ziro, CECs for Roads and Gender Hon. Catherine Kenga and Dr. Ruth Masha respectively, Chief officers for Youth and Sports, Devolution and Public works Mr. Naftali Owino, Md. Zamzam Cheller and Mr. Menza Samuel respectively.

I thank God for this opportunity to serve my people. Kilifi county will host the National Beach games. The National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOC-K) led by its Secretary General Francis Mutuku, paid a courtesy call to my office to chart a way forward to ensure the event scheduled on the 18th and 19th March 2023, is delivered successfully.

I have assured the committee that we have the best venues to stage the national event, that will promote Sports Tourism and Blue Economy, urging our Youths to seize the opportunity and play an active role by participating.

The Committee, led by it's Secretary General, has expressed their gratitude towards Kilifi for allowing them host the mega activity at the Malindi Buntwani Waterfront Park, as it provides a platform of structured engagement for a long term collaboration with the County Government and other key stakeholders.

I'm glad to have met Defender, a concerned resident of Kilifi, who called me and raised concerns over pertinent issues such as education, health, and Kilifi County's labor force during my interview with Msenangu FM. He was accompanied by Samson Baraka, a student who was to report to Ribe Boys High School but couldn't due to financial constraints.

I took Defender through our progress as a county, ranging from issuing full scholarships to 413 students through partnerships with investors and well-wishers to the disbursement of bursaries through the MCAs and the supply of pharmaceuticals and non-pharmaceuticals worth over Ksh. 400 million to all 150 health facilities within Kilifi County, among other achievements.

We've taken up Samson Baraka's issue, and he's now under a full scholarship program courtesy of the Kilifi County government.

In our continued quest to seek partnerships with other key players in Kilifi County’s economy, I had a meeting with the Jumbo Steel Management team led by Managing Director Mr Harsh Patel, and the Steel manager, Mr Govind Patel. Our talks centred on improving the ease of doing business for manufacturers in Kilifi County.

The steel company operates in Kilifi County and has employed over 800 people.

My administration is keen to enhance the ease of doing business in Kilifi County, through investments in infrastructure and availing of pertinent business information in electronic formats through the e-county "one-stop-shop" information site.
