We're so proud to see a black woman working with the community and being a positive force. Good job officer Lowe.

“Five-O Friday”

Deputy Lowe stopped by the shelter to take Bagel for a walk before her shift ended. Deputy Lowe has been with the Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office since January of 2023. Deputy Lowe was with Portsmouth PD for five years before coming aboard with the Patrol Division.

On one of her visits to the shelter, she met a chihuahua named Chico, who was available for adoption and fell in love. She adopted Chico and says he is phenomenal. Her love for animals and the community she serves is apparent.

Since being in Isle of Wight, the citizens, her coworkers and Sheriff have all restored her love for the job and she is looking forward to serving the community. She said this is the best career choice she’s made hands down. Thank you for serving the community with pride and professionalism.
