I read something that said “we parent better when we know someone is watching.” Have you noticed when we’re out in public we are more patient and kind vs at home we tend to get frustrated ? We don’t want anyone to think we are a “bad mom”.

The reality of this is, someone is always watching. It’s our children. Their view matters the most . I want to parent like someone is always watching so that I’m the best mama I can be for my babies.

What are ways that help you have more patience and be a better mom ?

These kids have the best daddy. I love seeing y’all’s relationship. Thank you for going so hard for them and for me. This day is just a day, you deserve all the love and recognition 365 because you make sure these kids are great and will always be great. They love you. I love you. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to parent with, even when I have to be the disciplinary and you give them chance after chance 😂😂. Happy father’s day.

As a mother let’s try to get rid of the idea that ag always being busy equates to being a good mother. It doesn’t. If anything, we’re tired and exhausted. Let’s adopt the idea that just being present and gentle with ourselves makes us a great mother ❤️

Do you ever feel yourself being snappy? Do you feel angry and you don’t know why. The smallest things your kids do may irritate you. You love them but you’re just over it.

Overstimulated and overwhelmed.

As a mom you have so many “to-do’s” left unchecked. Your brain is constantly on go. You’re trying to remember appts, what to cook, cleaning, school, bills and etc. It can become a lot.

Breathe mama, I get it.

Ask for help and take the time you need to breathe, relax and recharge.

Happiness is a choice . It’s not something we can go looking for . It’s something, I believe, we have to find within ourselves.

We often rely on our spouses to make us happy. Sometimes we even rely on our children to fill certain voids. This can be detrimental to you, your children and your spouse.

I’m learning to be happy. The things I can’t change, I can’t worry about. I’m choosing to be happy for the present and thankful for what God has done in me and my families lives.

Be happy even with the little things✨
