ALL I WANTED FOR MY BIRTHDAY 🎉 BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN ROBBED OF MY CREATIVITY. ⏳

I needed to do this DIY photoshoot to help heal the broken pieces of my creative spirit. 💔

I was the creative directior, hairstylist, makeup artist, photographer, model, photo editor, fashion stylist behind this shoot. Anyways social media for me is sometimes more of an outlet of creating rather than watching. I enjoy the behind the scenes stuff so much at another shoot I was blessed to be apart of months ago just melted my heart , inshallah one day I can use more of my creativity and relaunch my business again.

We like to share the “Highlights“ but not enough about our failures or trials. I honestly have no time for social media and I don’t plan continent even though I wasn’t social media manager at one point I just don’t really care it’s not what I really am worried about in my life at the moment or up keep of it.

I got to model for an amazing woman owned business that has been featured in . Muslim sisters from all around the world were there 💕

It was an amazing opportunity and I honestly feel to this day like how did I even get that opporunity? It was an amazing opportunity and I honestly feel to this day like how did I get there? I have been dabbling in doing different commercial work live streaming events, trying to tap into modeling. I don’t know if I’ll ever really type into it fully but I mean, at least I can say I tried.

I do doubt and question the times that I have modeled being on the more curvey /plus size and I realize that there’s other things that I should see in myself, but the last couple years I have been so weighed down with stress etc.

This year in particular so far has been a year of trials, downfalls setbacks. Also, at the same time, it has been full of progress, growth, and successes.

Go at your own pace just try different things if you’re still in your 20s, then you get it at least I get it. Your 20s is for self discovery every and to try every single thing and to be honest I wish there was a blueprint on how to live life but there isn’t so enjoy the ride while you find your way in this world. Allahuakbar!

Today was a day it was going so smooth during my fast and then the last hour comes and all these curve balls were thrown at me tomorrow the lesson learned will be a new CHALLENGE and that is the lesson I have learned today with fasting, and my prayers, and giving back to others. I still was cussing at the end 😂 human experience. I will make more prayers and write this down.

Wearing the Hijab is a journey.
If anyone sees me without it has to do with working on me, I see other women covering their head at the gym they are thin> however I sweat and I am overweight, not a great combo my hair drips with sweat which is a bad combo. So I try my best to stay modest as possible at the gym. I really don’t have to explain myself but don’t pass judgement on others because you don’t know what we are going through.

A little story background I have been partaking in Ramadan often on & off for the last seven years and a Allah SWT finally has opened my mind, body, and spirit. To being able to fully keep myself grounded as a Muslim rather than having one foot 🦶🏼in and one 🦶🏼out. this is my checklist, and of course, others may have different practices, and as a western Muslim, rather than from the east, I would say that my practices look a little bit different, but everything is still the same when it comes to following the religion as to be prescribed.

Feeding my soul today. Fasting for many reasons the passing of loved ones, mental clarity, cell regeneration. Allah has all but the knowing of divine timing. It has came a lot easier these days because my mind is flowing at a different frequency.
Will be saying Bismillah after break this 24 hour fast. One meal a day by one of my highly favored teachers I love my teachers. APDTA.
