Under the shimmering lights of the UNC College of Criminal Justice Education, the faculty, alumni, students, and guests gathered for an event that would be etched in their memories forever. The department embarked on a memorable night during the Emblems of Calibers: Knights Awards and Testimonials held last June 11, 2024, at the University of Nueva Caceres, Social Hall.
The night was not just an event. It was a celebration of the vibrant community, a testament to the unwavering dedication and brilliance of those involved. The evening was paved with a warm welcome, acknowledging the students' hard work and great achievement with their academic excellence and special awards. It was a recognition of the deserving students who manifested excellence in leadership, community service, research, and others. As familiar faces from years past filled the room with stories of their journeys and successes, the distinguished February 2024 Registered Criminologists were also in attendance and celebrated for their remarkable contributions, inspiring everyone present with their dedication and impact.
As the evening unfolded, the night was a beautiful blend of reflection on past successes and a hopeful look toward the promising futures of our newest pioneers. It was an evening filled with pride, joy, and a shared commitment to shaping a better tomorrow. Bidding farewell to another year of achievements and growth, the participants carry forward the inspiration and lessons from the shared stories of the alumni, the excellence of the students, and the promise of our graduates. This night encapsulated the essence of our community: a tapestry woven with resilience, brilliance, and boundless potential.
