My Switch collection of games so far, it's not big, but I'd say it is the essentials thus far, I got SM Odyssey this black Friday for $30 at Walmart. I had to grab it!

Another retro console acquired!

The Sega Genesis model 2 😎🎮

I never had this console growing up, I was more on the SNES camp and never really went over to the SEGA camp simply because it didn't cross my path.

I did however play this console at friends house after school very frequently, it was typical to be friends with another kid just for this sole reason lol.

I won this console at an auction site and I think I got it for a good price, $60 bucks and it came with a 2nd controller and a copy of Sonic 2.

Then Friday I went to my local retro gaming store and got me a copy of MK3... so now I've got 2 games in the collection 👍🏻

Another thing I later realized is I can now get into the SEGA CD realm which is COMPLETELY new to me, although I'm aware it's mad expensive to collect for that console much like it is for the SATURN.

I'll eventually get the SEGA CD and copy some games onto CDRs and try them out that way.

I'm going to make an unboxing video soon!

So far RE4R is pretty awesome!

Literally THE ONLY complaint I have is... why is it so cumbersome to take a screenshot?!

You have to pause the game (not while in viewing mode), hit square to go into photo mode, then there's hundreds of different adjustments you can make, when you're done you hide the menu options with the start button, then hit the screenshot button on the controller and finally capture your screenshot...

I like when all you need to do is press the screenshot button to take a screenshot and not have to do all of that 😅

BUT BESIDES THAT this game is near perfection!

I'm on chapter 3 but I am getting a little worried about the length of each chapter, they feel very short in my opinion, by which I mean I don't want it to end too soon 😔

I've had chills all over a few times from unexpected events like enemies popping out of nowhere rushing at you it's awesome 🤣

I'll write more as I continue to complete my 1st playthrough...

I softmodded a PSP I got recently that was labeled as "for parts or repair"

Not surprisingly, it wasn't broken, all they didn't have was a charger so the store couldn't verify if it powered on or not 🤣

To my delight I didn't have to attempt any repairs on it, just charged the battery and it powered on with no problems!

THIS POST IS TO CELEBRATE THE PROUD OWNER OF A PLAYSTATION 5 MY FRIENDS!
After a loooong wait and toooons of patience I finally bought the PS5!
I have officially joined the 9th generation of gaming consoles! 🙏🏻
Honestly I wasn't expecting to find in stock although I've been hearing in the gaming news as of late how PS5s are now more readily available everywhere I still had my doubts because this thing was like a 🦄 for over 2 freaking years!
The ridiculous hoops and jumps you had to go through to get one, the wait lists, the registrations, the email notifications from Sony Amazon Wal-Mart Target etcetera etcetera!
It felt impossible to own this console! That's how I felt up until 4 days ago when I went on Amazon to look for it with no expectations whatsoever.... and the bundle was in stock! There was no looking back!
What a way to begin the weekend guys!

My pickups for black Friday!

Interesting fact, I don't own a PS5 just yet ... HOWEVER I'm planning on getting one for Christmas... and I knew was the first game to get!

So I thought to take advantage of the black Friday deals and prepare in advance with a PS5 game now so I'll be ready with my first game on hand once I actually get it... now, I sure hope to be able to secure a console in the coming weeks, but just from peaking into the Sony website it looks like my odds are good from what I can tell...

Have any of you been able to order a PS5 lately from Sony directly? If not what is the best way?

By the way is pretty great! Getting big vibes when fighting the tall bosses!

I laughed out loud right now because of what I did as you see here in Resident Evil 0...look at the ground🤣

I don't know... I just find it hilarious what you have to do to haul all the stuff with you since this game doesn't have the treasure box that teletransports all your things from one area to the next

I had to strip Billy of everything he had and have been carrying from one spot to the next, this is too funny!

Come on Billy where the heck are you?! I can't keep doing a 2 person job! 😅😅😅

I am so happy Silent Hill is finally making a comeback after many MANY years dormant!

It's one of those franchises that came to make a permanent impression on gamers since the late 90s

Playing the very first Silent Hill game when I was 13 back in 1999 in a dark room by myself and getting scared out of my mind with sweaty hands holding a dualshock controller in the small apartment my mom and I lived in is a moment in my gaming years that I will never forget, the chills I got hearing the static on Harry's radio while walking around a smoky and pixelated small town called Silent Hill made me become a fan of this franchise immediately!

Shockingly I skipped SH2 and SH3 since I never owned a PS2 when those games released, in the early 2000s I only owned a Dreamcast and an Xbox so by the time Silent Hill 4 The Room came out I was able to dive back into the series, that game creeps the hell out of me to this day!

What is great about this comeback is the fact that it is exclusive to PS5, from what I could tell this ISN'T going to be a cross-generation game and that makes it even MORE special as I'm sure Silent Hill 2 Remake is being made to look and play with the most advanced mechanics available with current generation of hardware

I'm so looking forward to see how immersive this remake and Silent Hill Townfall will be and what it will deliver no holds barred through the PS5

TMNT Shredders Revenge just came in the mail! This is cool!

Loved all the little extra content in the game, just like back in the day, they even included a code for a personal pan pizza lol!

Good job !

I just don't like the almost 3 month wait since placing the order, luckily I've already beaten the game on Xbox gamepass since it released back in June...

Anyway happy gaming sessions this weekend friends!

I'm gonna get my pizza and replay this amazing 2D love letter of a game for retro gamers like myself!

A few months ago I started to mess around with rom hacking and I found this patch for Mega Man X4... It replaces the American opening with the Japanese intro song, at first I didn't like it but it grew on me and now I think it's more epic than the original intro, very catchy! I love it! This hack also inserts voices sounds for the bosses and for megaman himself as well as X when they attack and its pretty cool! Have you checked out any rom hacks of your own?
