CONFIDANT. How lucky is he/she who found and who has one. It is always a blessing to have someone whom you can just tell everything about yourself, your darkest self to be exact. When I was in College I have one confidant who happened to be my Spiritual director. It was really awkward and at the same time liberating. It is actually a high risk, imagine it is like un******ng yourself in front of that person and to the extent -- to the whole town. The bottom line here is trust. You gamble trust without the certainty that what you have divulge will be secured. But of course there must be prudence and certain limits first prior to opening everything about you. This is one way of re-channeling stress. If there is something in you that stresses you out and you cannot just do something about it, imagine you can just share it with that someone then magically it lights you up. Simple things to be thankful for.

Gone Too Soon!

Just because a message might not be received or be replied upon does not mean it is not worth sending. Just today I lost one of my colleague when I was working in one of the BPO pioneers in Metro Manila. No one really knows when will be your due time. Reality checks that it can really be compared to a thief who can visit you any time of the day or night. It is just that no matter how vigilant you will be, it will really come into you. The question is how prepared are you knowing that this possibility exists? And today, a lot of us just got robbed with the loss of one of our friends. No one really expected as life just continues to confront us with our own problems and opportunities. One thing is for sure, nothing really is permanent in this world. For me, right now what really matter is how i am living my life. I know it will come to the point that most of us will realize that the longevity will no longer be real essence of life, it will boil down to how you maximize your chance of living here on earth. How satisfied are your worldly and spiritual cravings? How immense is your regret about the things you failed to do but you know you can do them? How happy was your being? The people around you? How was it? Is your presence worthwhile? After this life, what is next? I just hope and pray that her Soul is strong enough to realize that we have nowhere to go but to the One who has the Eternal Life. I believe in her Soul, she will rest in peace. To all of us, who feel that we have not done our part, i think this is the best time to really examine where we can improve our inner being? If you've been wanting to say nice things to your family or loved ones, say it. Grab the opportunity as long as you have the chance to. There is no better time as we are actually not sure about this timings. What can be done today, do it because tomorrow might not be a good time for each one of us.

PRUDENCE. This is one of the things I am praying for everyday. "Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your spirit and they shall be created. And thee shall renew the face of the earth." Of all the confusions around, aware or unaware we might be, there were and there will always be prematurely judged situations that we regretted and will be regretting. In view of this, I am actually asking for assistance Above to give me the courage to stand for what I believe is right and act on it. I know, for some this will be effortless. I mean, the picking of sides between good or bad. Some do it effortlessly. But for some, they will exert effort because somehow out of their past experiences they did some crazy stuff that fill their list of choices that are not supposedly even an option. That is why, i find it a bit off for someone who just easily generalize people who commit bad decisions in life. Consider that there are different pressures around that affect our decision making. Lucky are those who decided immediately not to entertain any of these nuances because they will not be bothered in the long run. But for those who are confused and uncertain, please know that you are not the only person who are in constant struggle. My advice to you is just carry on, always recognize the weakness that is present in us, pray for it then act on it based on the prayers we are supplicating. Mind you, divine intervention is wonderful and indescribable. You'll not be able to express it in words but deep within you is an immense sense of gratitude.

I believe one of the reasons most of the times we find ourselves in regret is because of the tolerance we give to certain things. In the first place, we already have an idea and we can sense that there is a great possibility that what we have tolerated will bring us chaos but still we did not mind preventing it. Until such time, we'll find ourselves mired in that deep s**t we created for ourselves. Here comes regret. Here comes cursing, wishing and bothering people to help us resolved what we have set ourselves. Just because everything is temporary does not mean you will start something foolish and later on console your effing self that you can surpass it. I know, it sounds crazy but this is happening in real life. As the old adage goes, do not play with the fire unless you are fireproof because sooner or later you will end up hurting yourself. In most cases, we already know what to do but putting into action what we know is right and standing on our ground is the hardest thing to do with consistency. Temptation is as clever as you could ever imagine. It rides with the proper timing making things appear as if they are the best decision to make then p**p! It got you. In this regard, I just want to let everyone know that you are not only the one making stupid decisions in life. Everyone does! What matters most is how you make up for it and your constant effort to really avoid being caught in the same s**t again. So, goodluck!

Why is it hard for us to step out of the situation we know we can never get anything good from? We see what is good and we totally approve it but we end up following what is detrimental to our well being. Why?

Deep within us, we somehow wish to find our own release. It can be a release from what has been enslaving us for a long period of time like recurring vices, toxic relationship, unhealthy workplace or work ambiance and worst or to the extreme a release from this temporary world. One would say I'd better go to the intellectual realm rather than continue dwelling here physically due to the sufferings this world has been offering and will be offering. On a positive note, I wish everyone a happy journey towards finding their own release. Remember, resting isn't going there. Keep rolling. Goodluck!
