Words from our Editor in Chief, : “To celebrate Earth Day, I wanted to share how important and complex the role of fashion in sustainable living is. There is so much more to a sustainable wardrobe than organic cotton or buying second hand. The most sustainable outfit is the one you will actually (re)wear and it is the clothes that mean something to you. Why? Research shows that emotional connection to garments makes us keep them and wear them for longer. It means that we take care of them. So no matter whether you buy from sustainable brands or whether you buy too many things that you don’t use later: it’s missing the point. Make sure you are a responsible consumer; love your clothes to make them last.”
