Hidden behind the rocks, the skeleton of a huge titan suddenly appeared in front of me. I was very impressed by this dark beauty! But be careful, traveler! The enemy can jump out from anywhere. Look carefully - many robbers and frightened merchants have hidden their valuables around.

Mountain Totem - 23 x 34 Battlemap

High in the mountains, among dangerous abysses, I found this terrible totem. A huge stone skull with hieroglyphs sculpted on it, illegible to me. Fresh and old blood flowed through them. Skulls were strewn around the totem. This scary place contrasted sharply with the beautiful landscape from the edge of the abyss.

OWL CAVE - 26 X 38 BATTLEMAP and details from some other versions

Do you remember the owl cave? Immediately after the entrance was a large hall. There was a stone bridge crossing the cave river. Bats fluttered on the ceiling, and the underground river roared, fed by the rainy weather. As soon as you climb the rocks after the bridge, the cave looks like an owl with outstretched wings. Many years ago, they found the cave abandoned, full of skeletons and traces of dried blood, and there are still scary noises at night.

Roadside Camp - 30x30 Battlemap

When I saw the well with crystal clear water, as well as a flat place by the road, where the traces of a recent camp could still be seen, I decided to set up my torn tent. Anyone who has slept in the open air knows the sweet thrill of fear, mixed with excitement and joy of nature, the stars so close to the earth, the feeling of infinite freedom ... Rested and refreshed the next day, I began to draw the map.

I found these ruins, which may have been a temple, but have already been turned into an arena where wild battles are fought. And the head of the Greek god, still full of soul, watches the battles. When I found this place, I remembered Ozymandias and made a desert version of the arena, which I have already shared. Take your weapon, enter the circle and feel the atmosphere of the ancient ruins.

Hey everyone! this is the winter version of my latest battlemap - I hope you like it. https://www.patreon.com/lonemapper
I found this Graveyard on the south path. Only the crows disturbed the silence in this sacred place. I painted for a long time, and when I rested I tried to read the names on the tombstones. I only partially succeeded. And the epitaphs were almost erased. But look at you travelers too. Your watchful eyes are younger than mine. And if you see enemies in the midst of battle, do not step on the graves of these heroes.

For a long time no one has rested under the shade of a dead tree, but it still rises above everything else at this crossroads. Whoever you ask about the dead tree will describe the path, but with a thoughtful and strange expression. Therefore, be careful when clearing. An old man told me about a sacred place to the south, and I go there. But one day I want to go back and explore this cave called the Owl.
