Really enjoyed another year at the Forksville PowWow. The dances are always amazing - including this one. It is the Alligator Dance from tribes in Florida that have been taught and brought up to Pennsylvania.
I always feel very blessed to be able to attend these sort of events where I can meet new people, learn new things and find out more about the rich culture of Indigenous Peoples.
Plus, the fry bread with blackberry jam is THE BEST!

Ever want to spend a cozy weekend in a rustic cabin built over 90 years ago?
My wife and I did just that as we visited Worlds End State Park in Sullivan County. Nestled in the wooded mountains, this is my favorite park in the Commonwealth with some of my favorite state cabin lay outs.
What do ya think? Would you stay here?
