Hello and welcome to the Sky-Scrappers page. A page where I will be uploading all the work I've done over the years and now for this original Cool Comic Creations IP.
Sky-Scrappers is a series about the rise of an underground youth countercultural movement called Scrap Battles and how this movement goes from a fringe movement into commercialized mainstream entertainment. This series explores the ideas of artistic expression versus commoditization. It asks us, "What does it mean to be authentic?"
We follow Patricia Rush as she is introduced to the world of Scrappers and navigates the rapidly changing climate introduced by Kirio Entertainment as it tries to turn Scrap Battling into a legitimate business enterprise in the eyes of every man, woman, and child in the city of Newton.
