Proverbs 28:1-30 - When they cry for help, I will not answer. Though they anxiously search for me, they will not find me, because they hated knowledge and chose not to worship the LORD. They rejected me, they didn't listen to my advice, and they paid no attention when I corrected them!
You #idolaters broke the first commandment. (Exodus 20:3) "You shall have no other gods!
Since y'all chose idols over God, He said "Go be with your idols then! Don't call on me in your time of trouble. Ask your idols for help"
Why put your trust in a bunch of materials that can't talk to you? That can't hear you? That can't love you? Materials that can't even save themselves! All these materials never last, they end up breaking, getting stolen, or they get destroyed by #storms! Yet people idolize this stuff!
There's so much #idolatry In this world! People worship money, materials, cars, statues, houses, skyscraper buildings, businesses, celebrities, jewelry, name brand clothes, etc. A bunch of man made stuff! They spend their whole life putting everything over God. They put their relationships and their kids over God. The world has forgotten God! Then when disaster and judgement comes, when the #weather take out their idols, everybody wana cry out to God for help, but...
Isaiah 57:13 - When you cry out for help, let your collection of idols save you! The wind will carry all of them off!

Both the idols and their owners are bowed down! The gods cannot protect the people, and the people cannot protect the gods. They go off into captivity together.
