Full Poem:

Immigrants at Bus Stops

5am, driving in Miami, Hispanics at bus stops, Dominicans at bus stops.

5am, driving in Jacksonville, African Americans at bus stops.
5am, driving in Boston, immigrants at bus stops.
5am, driving in Toronto, immigrants at bus stops.

Will we see?
Will we share?
Will we change?
Will we learn?

That:
We are all EQUAL,
We are all ONE,
We are all in this TOGETHER.

We came with nothing,
We go with nothing.

Stand for Equality.
Stand for Love.

The Child within me!

Looking at the baby born,
Looking in to that eyes,
So pure, so loving.

Looking in to my eyes,
Looking deep,
Who am I today?

Looking in to my life,
Removing layer by layer,
What I become today?

Looking in to my heart,
Feeling deep inside, I see,
A baby trying to born again.

I was so distanced,
I was so lost,
I am finding him again.

He is so fun,
He is so kind,
He is so pure.

Today:

I am that baby again,
I start a new life again,
I will be pure again.

Forood shares his experience of perseverance:

The New House, The Pink Slip, and The Flood:

I walked with a spring in my step and a smile on my face! I was performing well at work and bought a new house with plans for renovation.

Life was beautiful, what could go wrong?

I went to work expecting my commission which would be equivalent to my salary. Guess what? I got a pink slip. The company got acquired without any notice to staff.
After lots of effort putting the finances and loans together up to my neck, I went to the basement of the new home to work on my resume. I was greeted with water up to my ankle. No job, first and second mortgage, a loan and 2 credit cards full, and then the flood.

Sometimes, it seems everything that could go wrong, does. I know many people and companies feel the same way and are facing many challenges. But things are starting to open up and we need to stay on the side and keep our eyes on a better .

The day will come when everything will pass. Keep plugging, keep working smart, building relationships, and staying positive.
