🚧 Traffic Advisory: Road Closure Notification for Pim Street🚧

📅 Date of Closure: Monday, June 17th
⏰ Time: Starting at 6:00 AM

Please plan your routes accordingly as traffic will be rerouted during this period. Signage and instructions will be posted to ensure smooth traffic flow and access for all residents and businesses in the area.

🚨Also note that on June 24, we will be coordinating another road closure in this same area to facilitate the watermain connection once it is properly commissioned - there will be another notice about that next week🚨

We're thrilled to announce that Avery Construction has been awarded the contract for the 2024-6E Queen Street Improvements Project here in Sault Ste. Marie! 🏗️

We are excited to be a part of improving our beautiful community. We understand that construction can be challenging for local businesses and everyone who loves our downtown area. That's why we're committed to making the construction process as smooth and painless as possible for everyone involved.

🚛 Beginning on Monday, May 27 we will be implementing our staging plan on the North Side of Queen Street between Spring Street and March Street. The road will remain open during this time as we will be closing the North Lane and shifting traffic to the South.

For the Sidewalks, we will plan to leave sidewalk access on the North Side of the street with minimized interruptions at each business which will be reviewed and discussed with the businesses beforehand so that we can minimize any loss of access to the front entrance of their business.

Sidewalk traffic on the South Side of the road will not be affected during this staging period and we are encouraging through pedestrian traffic to utilize the South Sidewalk during this time if they are not visiting one of the businesses within the staging area.🚛

Area Businesses can reach out to us via email at [email protected] to discuss potential project concerns

Follow us and Stay tuned for updates, and thank you for your continued support! Together, we can build a better future for Sault Ste. Marie. 🌟
