I will always be so incredibly grateful for the blank slate I was given here at Fox Carolina! I've been allowed to mold this hour into something I love. I hope our viewers enjoy tuning in and feel informed with our news coverage and entertained with all the guest segments and field trips we take.
I was told when we were in the creation phase to treat this newscast like it was my baby, but really-- I think it's my love letter to the Upstate.

Every Friday is a Fine Arts Friday on Midday! Had so much fun chatting with Dillon Klena who plays Nick Healy ahead of Jagged Little Pill's visit to Greenville at the end of this month! You can catch Dillon and the rest of the cast at the Peace Center from May 23-28! Tickets are still available!
A quick story of why I love living in the Upstate:
Yesterday while driving to an appointment, one of my front tires popped. I knew something was wrong and pulled over the first place I could-- which just so happened to be Greenville Fire Station No. 1.
Before I could even get out of my car, two firefighters were walking toward me ready to help. They got my car jacked up, flat tire off and spare put on in under ten minutes! Even putting some air in the spare before I drove off.
They took what could be a scary, anxiety-inducing situation and instead made it so easy. I am so appreciative to our first responders for helping with smaller things like flat tires to much larger moments like saving lives.
There's just something special about friendly faces offering to help, no questions asked. They play a huge role in making our community what it is!
