Running ads should be a means of getting more eyes on what you have to offer.

If your offer isn't good enough, you will end up wasting money on running ads.

One way yo avoid this is to validate your offer(presell your courses, run a quiz to your audience to see if they're interested).

So hope you've learnt ads doesn't equal sales, your offer is the key.

As an entrepreneur if you want success faster, the biggest hack is to join an environment or a community of people you intend to be like.

Do anything just to be part of that community.

Just like James Clear do say you can't consistently stick to a positive habit in a negative environment.

I have a friend, a lady, who shared her story with me on how she got started online as a copywriter.

All she wanted was to make money online, she get to know of copywriting and it's earning potential, she decided to give it a try.

After series of free articles and free online courses, she bought her first paid course, with the hope that if she invests money into it, she will become more committed.

Guess what that wasn't the case, after a week she didn't follow up the classes, watched their videos or engaged on their Facebook group.

I asked her why, she said "No one can help you if you are not willing to help yourself".

End of story: Are you willing to help yourself?

As a course creator it's important you put these 3 things in consideration when coaching your students, likewise aspiring course creators.

PS: I know I got no link in my bio yet, but I promise you I'm working on it, I will get you know when I'm done. It's going to look like this, a link to a blog post that shares how corporate workers can earn online from creating and monetizing digital courses without looking for VC's and loans.

1) Audience - Who do you intend to serve?
tip; Identify your super power, that thing that comes so easy to you and just seems difficult to others, in other words your gift.

As a course creator it has to be something you have done or experienced, or you just have intense desire or interest in it.

Meanwhile, you don't have to be the most knowledgeable in your field, there will always be people better than you, it's fine, you can learn from them but don't let that stop you from teaching those that are a chapter or two below you.

2) Funnels - Get them to see what you have to offer, this involves marketing.

3) Story - HOW you pass the message to your audience to get them interested in your offer, pay you and join your CULT-ture.

Lastly remember, "you are just one story away."

Do you have a million dollar goal? Read along...

You don't have to invent a new Facebook or Instagram or Microsoft to achieve a million dollar, you can achieve it with information products(digital courses) but just like any field in entrepreneurship it's difficult.

But with the right guidance, hardwork and consistency it's achievable.

Just how i like telling my students, you don't have to be the most knowledgeable to sell information products, you just have to be a chapter or two ahead of those you intend to teach but it all starts with clarity.

So today's post is about the two most important things you need to gain clarity about before getting started.

PRO-TIP: Don't create a product then go looking for customers, look for hungry customers before creating a product.

The main reason why most course creators fail is because of their lack of confidence, even after buying courses, investing in their growth they still stay stuck on one spot.

I was having a conversation with a close friend of mine, talking from a personal experience, she said "no one can help you if you not willing to help yourself"

And most of the time lack of confidence comes from low self esteem which is normal, but just like Nelson Mandela said "courage isn't the lack of fear but the ability to act inspire of it."

As a course creator, you don't need to know it all to be an expert in your niche, to get started you don't need to have all the knowledge and experience your mentors have, you just have to be a chapter or two ahead of those you intend to teach, coach or transform their lives.

Like i usually say "You are just one story away", get started today.

I keep saying this to most of my students without clarity and absolute certainty of who you want to serve, the best possible way to serve them and how to pass your message across, you would feel stuck, feel like you aren't going anywhere.

But the moment you are clear and certain of these elements, you would be able to track your progress and work in that direction.

So with clarity and absolute certainty comes direction, with direction comes a clear pathway for you.

And that my friend is the medicine for overwhelm.
