Happy 5th Birthday to Arbitrary Advice! This show has been my baby for five whole years! I know I have been MIA for quite a while, but I’m not giving up yet! I have had A LOT going on in my personal life and I promise when I have a chance to record again (hopefully soon) I will give y’all the explanation that you deserve. I don’t wanna get all sappy, but THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has been here since the beginning and to everyone who has stayed during my hiatuses. I love all of you!

Y’all ever get an after comedy show high? Laughter really is the best medicine. I needed tonight. “crushed it” as always (if you listen to the pod you get the crushed it reference and I’m aware putting parentheses kinda contradicts the inside joke cuz I had to explain where it came from). Anyways…Not sure if y’all knew this, but Nate’s my favorite comedian! I discovered him kinda recently (maybe a little less than a year ago) but he tops everybody for me because his style has a lot of crowd work and I really admire his ability to be funny on the spot. I think you’re truly funny if you don’t have the stuff just rehearsed. Anyways I got a signed shirt too so I’m happy as can be. Can’t wait to show it to literally everyone! Little life update for y’all since you know I like to keep you guys in my loop and tell you what’s going on. I’ve hit an all time low over the past few months and have finally started going to therapy. Anyone that knows me knows I struggle with anxiety & depression and there’s a few other things too. My biggest piece of advice I could give is DON’T do what I did and put off therapy. GO TO THERAPY. You can only benefit from it. I’m piecing myself back together and finding who I am again. Thank you all for being the best supporters of not only my show, but also me. I’ve made real connections and hope to only keep this growing. I started podcasting somewhat selfishly to get out of my shell, but I mostly want your take away to be YOU ARE NOT ALONE. We all are own worst critics and need to learn how to be nicer to ourselves because the things we say to ourselves we’d most likely never say to someone else. So please remember, if no one told you today: I love you; I’m proud of you; & you’re crushing it!

It’s Bleu’s first birthday! Idk why but I’m so emotional today. For those that don’t know, this dog means the absolute WORLD to me. He’s so much more than my emotional support animal. He’s my bestie (besides my husband of course) and he puts a smile on my face and gives me purpose on the days I don’t want to get out of bed. I’ve had a heck of a year when it comes to my mental health to be honest and I’m so thankful I’ve had him. Sometimes you just need a furry friend to get through things. There’s nothing like the unconditional love from a fur baby. I love you Bleu bear and idc how much of a crazy dog mom I may seem to be.
