A trip that reminded me how important it is to be comfortable with being uncomfortable.

I come from a small town with a population of about 200 (shout out Riverport), and I've been fortunate enough to travel to dozens of bigger cities all over North America for work. But Hong Kong was truly one of the most eye-opening experiences I've had so far.

This trip filled me with an overwhelming sense of gratitude—both for the experience itself and for where I come from.

Multiple times throughout the trip, I had to remind myself to "just enjoy the experience," which led to my impulsive decision to get "Be where your feet are" tattooed on me. It’s a reminder to always stay present and to be thankful that my journey has brought me to every moment I’m lucky enough to experience.

No matter where you go, there's no place like home. 😅
