We spent the night in Forsyth, GA on our way home from wintering in FL.

We’re not usually that optimistic about KOA Journey locations, but this one was honestly a pleasant surprise. It has more amenities than you typically find at these shorter-term stay parks.

We will definitely go back when we have more time to visit.

We rounded out our “Winter Floridian” season at Champions Run RV Resort in Ocala, FL.

This place was in the middle of everything, so it gets an A+ for location.

My only gripe? In general the people (guests, not staff) weren’t as friendly as other places we stayed. That isn’t on the resort, though, so I’d definitely recommend the stay.
